Travelers Choice Pagosa Hardshell Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels Black 22-Inch Carry-on

Great little bag, and officially my first piece of well designed luggage! I took this on a two and a half week trip to Rome Italy. During that trip we were on trains, busses, subways taxis, Ubers, you name it - and this little bag went nearly everywhere with us. The bag is so well thought out that it makes packing and organizing a breeze. I didn't have to really think where stuff "should go" the bag just uses every inch intelligently so that you can fit the most amount of stuff. I did not bother with the USB charging portion as I like to keep those items on my person in my personal backpack. The bag itself though held up well to a lot of abuse. My biggest pro however - was the maneuverability. The bag just slipped in and out of the tightest places without inconveniencing many people. Anyone who travels a lot will appreciate how little this bag annoys other people in tight spaces. The material is a little cheap feeling at times but for me that's OK. It's a purposeful piece of luggage, and I feel like there are thousands that look like it - so good luck at the airport carousel! Well worth the price at the end of the day. I purchased the two-piece set on Prime Day for an almost two week vacation in Italy. I love all of the separate sections and zippered pockets. I love that the bags can be unzipped to expand for even more space. I only needed to use this on the larger bag on the way home to fit everything I bought during the trip. The outside of the bag already has some scuff marks from the belt but everything inside stays in place and jars and fragile items we're unbroken. My last luggage set was a funky pattern and easy to spot. These are black. So it would be helpful to add a lot of stickers or a scarf to the handle to differentiate from all the other black bags. (One colorful luggage tag was NOT enough to make it stand out amongst all the others.) The carry-on bag has a spot for a power bank which allows you to charge devices via a USB port outside. Sounds nice in theory but didn't work for me practically as I need to press a button to turn on the particular power bank I have so I'd be opening the suitcase. All in all, 5 stars! Update: I've now used the carry-on for a total of seven flights. It's held up well and is still my go-to for short trips! The bag seems larger than other carry-ons that others have, but even on smaller planes, I've never had any issues getting it into the overhead compartment with room to spare, even when a little stuffed. The exception being those one-hour ERJ flights where even a large bookbag won't fit in the overhead. One final tip: get the compression bags for your clothes! I use the ones that you simply have to zip and roll. My last trip was nine days and even with packing three sweatshirts and a lightweight jacket, I was able to squeeze everything I needed into the carry-on AND have a tiny bit of room leftover for souvenirs. I travel a lot for work and leisure, and purchased this as an emergency when my carry-on wheel broke on a trip. Con is that it scuffs easily, which sucks because the color is so pretty. It is what it is because this luggage stands out in baggage claim and it's super sturdy. I love the different compartments inside. I'm super type A and there are several mesh compartments and zipper pockets to keep everything organized. I also like the lock feature, which I don't use at the airport, but I do use when my bags are unattended in hotel rooms or lobby bag check rooms. The wheels are high off the ground and roll effortlessly on various terrain. The luggage is average weight, possibly on the lighter side. In addition to the interior compartments, carryon bag also has a portable charger insert. After several trips, I purchased a second set but in a darker color so scuffs wouldn't appear. Read more
