Treat dispenser for smaller animals

This is an awesome way to keep your small and medium dogs occupied. It is a good size for them but would probably be too small for a larger dog. Just fill it with some enticing treats and let them at it. It easily rolls when they paw or nudge it and the treats fall out frequently enough to keep them interested but not easily enough that there is no challenge. It has held up to many rounds of dispensing and keeps them occupied for 20 to 30 minutes. It isn't loud or disturbing when they play. Anything that keeps them occupied is a bonus in my book. This is a well made toy that got the attention of one of my dogs but not the other. One was willing to spend time with the toy and wait it out for the treats to work their way out. The other dog gave up sooner because the treats did not dispense fast enough for him to stay engaged. The treats had a hard time coming out of the hole. The entertainment value was a 10 for one dog and a 5 for the other. Read more

This treat toy feels nice and solid, is easy to use and works. The complicated part is getting our yorkie to actually hit it to get the treats instead of just barking at it until we move it and the treats come out. It seems durable, not sure how durable if you have a larger dog. But if we could get her to play with it more think it would be good entertainment. And it's very inexpensive, so don't regret getting it even if she isn't sure of it. Read more

Not sure this is worth it? Treat dispenser way too small

My dogs (and cat) love initially love this when I put it on the floor, however the treat dispenser is tiny and it hard to find treats that will actually come out when it's rolled or moved about. They should have sent a sample pack of treats of the right size so people would know what to buy to put inside. I couldn't find anything small enough (and still haven't) it has mostly frustrated and bored the dogs since nothing easily comes out as their reward after their initial excitement. I'll either keep looking for microscopic treats or get rid of it. No point in having it if you can't find the right treats and the pets won't play with it. Read more

This treat dispenser toy is VERY well made!! I was super impressed with just the weight of it alone. The roller ball on the bottom is very substantial and allows the whole unit to stand up correctly and wobble around when hit to dispense treats. The top is easy to fill with treats and lock up and the neck slider allows for a good variety of sizes of treats to pass through. The top that opens has a few little air holes in it so help entice your pet to go after the treats. I have another treat dispenser like this from another brand and it in NO way compares to how nice this one is. The other my cat never even bothered with. Read more
