If you're looking for a regular foam topper and not a god awful memory foam one that just sinks and flattens and hurts your body even more, this is what you want. I've had such a hard time trying to find this kind of foam topper, because every other one seems to be memory foam and not just the regular stuff. This is a completely normal, soft but sturdy convoluted foam topper that doesn't just completely flatten under your body, keeps up with your weight, granted I'm only 140lbs so it may differ with higher weights, not sure. It's not crazy thick, it's only maybe 1.5"-2" thick in person, but I have a 3" memory foam topper underneath this one too (which I hate because it does practically nothing, and is why I bought this one lol) on a very firm bed, and now it's nice and supportive without the pressure on your hips and shoulders from the firm bed. If you have a more plush bed, of course this is going to be absolutely comfortable, no doubt. But for a firm mattress, I would double up, or you could just see how you like one alone, depends on the firmness of your mattress and your personal preference. I might just have to get another one when I've got the money again to replace the awful memory foam underneath it, because I just enjoy this one so much lol. It's exactly what I was hoping for. While this eggshell mattress cover is thin (1") it is exactly what I wanted. My mattress is high enough it does't need any more height. I bough a king size & cut it to fit my queen mattress so that I would have leftovers to make a cushion for the back portion of my recliner & still have some leftover to soften my kitt's bed! Just what I wanted. However, if you want something to really sink into I'd get something thicker. Read more

Straight out of the package, not very impressive, but given a couple of hours to to unfold and fluff up, it’s good. Unlike memory foam toppers that flatten under your heavy parts, this topper retains its springiness. The texture reminds me of Scotchbrite pads. The only negative is ferocious off gassing!!! It needs about two weeks in a well ventilated space to air out. I would not use this around old people or children without thorough airing. Read more

I got this for my dads bed because he refused the thicker pad. His worry was he wouldn't be able to get into bed if it was higher. In the end he ended up folding it in half to make a 2 inch but now its only half the bed lol. Its a good foam and performs as a 1 inch should. If you are looking for anything more than a very light cushion you may want to increase the thickness. Hope that helps. p.s. I'm real lol Read more

I’m a side sleeper with neck and sometimes hip pain. Thought my pillow top was soft enough but I needed more. Added this as a twin to just my side of the king bed. It stays in place. Helps and mornings are much better and sleep is better too. Beats having to upgrade to a king with a more plush pillow top- at $3-5k. Read more

This is useless for what it is intended for, if you gave this piece of crap a decent review you were either bribed or your body is in perfect condition with no aches or pains because laying a piece of paper on your mattress would be about the same. It came dirty, it is uneven, there are places you can see through it and if you put weight on it, oh let's just say like a body it completely flattens into nothing. The pic I included is with one pound of butter and babies weigh more than that, I mean come on I have an egg shell on my other bed and a pound of butter wouldn't even put a dent in it. Do Not Buy This utter piece of Garbage! Read more
