My granddaughter loves these boots. We got them for the snow storm and they were great. She has another brand as well and the Tree Grandpa boots were our go to. Pros, they have a lot of traction, so she did not fall on the snow and ice. They are durable but also flexible, great for toddlers. The color pink is so pretty as well. Cons, Eve though I read the reviews and used the size chart, they were still a little bit bigger than we expected, but with thick socks they work just fine and she will be able to wear them this spring and summer. My toddler is OBSESSED with these boots! They fit her (very wide and chunky) feet very well. I sized up because I intended for them to be fall/winter boots worn with thicker socks and they are perfect. The wide opening makes it easy for her to put on and take them off by herself. There was no smell when I opened them and the color is exactly as pictured. They’re super lightweight and flexible. So far they seem durable and she’s worn them in the rain and mud with no issues. The tread is also good enough that I think they’ll be fine to wear in snow/ice. I could see the wide opening being potentially inconvenient if you pair them with leggings or something thin like that, rain or snow could easily go inside. (If your baby has chunky legs this might not be as much of an issue, my daughter’s legs are very thin.) This isn’t a complaint but just something I’d like to add- the shoes don’t come with any kind of shoe box which was kind of unexpected.
