This scrub is so nice. The scrubby bits are the perfect size, not too harsh, and exfoliate well. The foaming action makes me feel clean, even without soap and there is no oily mess or slick tub. The vanilla scent is absolutely heavenly, trust me on this! I don't know how much it contributes to a smooth shave (I also use the shave oil), as I haven't noticed much difference in a closer shave or less ingrown hairs. However, I also use this even when I'm not shaving, both for the fragrance and as an exfoliating scrub between shaves. I generally follow it up with Truly's Glazed Donut oil, and the combo leaves my skin moisturized and smelling like an absolute treat! I'll continue to buy this product.
