So I originally complained about the quality of the products box it came in, and I gotta say I was wrong about it. There was a nasty rip in the box that surrounds the watch, and I didn’t like that. However, I decided to peel it and found it’s an outer cover for the actual box that looks very nice. So I take back my negative review and admit I was wrong. This is our second purchase of this watch...the first was from the company about 3 years ago and was around $ 139. Since Amazon has the same watch from the same company for so much less we ordered our second from them. My only complaints are that every time you need maintenance, batteries etc. It needs to be taken to a jeweler or be sent in. Also, the bands are not replaceable for most styles, and it is almost cheaper to just get another watch (as we did) than to send it back to California for repair. The watch from the company also included free engraving and through Amazon it is not available. Over all it's a beautiful watch and we have received many compliments on it. Perfect gift ! Read more
This is exactly what I was expecting and hoping for, and my husband loves it. It is extremely light, so I wouldn’t recommend wearing this as an everyday or around the house watch, as any damage will be less forgiving than a metal watch with sapphire face. This was a gift for our 5th/Wood anniversary, and is perfect. I was concerned, after reading reviews, that the face would not be easy to read. My husband is color blind and still has no issue reading and seeing the time markers on the dark face. We tried to size this ourselves, but ended up taking it to our local jeweler. Beautiful piece!
