The fabric on this sweater is thick, soft, and feels very high quality. It is flattering and easy to style, whether with jeans or something a little dressier. I got a size Small, and the fit works well overall. For reference, I am 5'7", weigh 130 lbs, and my measurements are 30" waist, 38" hips, 36.5" bust, and I got a size Small. The only drawback is that it does not really want to stay off the shoulder at all times. If you move your arms too much, it tends to roll back up, so I have to pull it down again every so often. This off the shoulder sweater is really flattering and very feminine! Below is my detailed review covering the sizing, material, care and other notes. For reference, I requested a size small in black. SIZING: The sizing is true to size with a little room. It is not 100% fitted like the photo (for me at least in the smallest size available) but it still has a slim fit. I'd suggest ordering your normal size if you'd like a little room in the waist and arms or size down if you want the truly fitted look. MATERIAL: The sweater material itself is very soft and stretchy. It has a bit of weight to it and a medium thickness. I believe it would be good for cool weather, but you'll want to layer up for really cold days. CARE: I washed this sweater with detergent and cold tap water. Then I dried it on the lowest temperature setting. The sweater came out just fine, didn't shrink, but I did notice the material looks like it will pill over time. It might be better to wash and dry inside out or in a mesh laundry bag to prevent this. If all else fails, a fabric shaver will do the trick to get rid of those pills that sweaters often get. Full Review: I had high hopes for this sweater because it really is adorable and feels very soft and high-quality. Unfortunately, the biggest problem is that it just will not stay off the shoulders. The second you move, raise your arms, or even just breathe a little too deeply, it slides right back up. If you have a larger chest, it’s even more of a struggle. Without some modifications, it honestly ends up looking more like a slightly weird turtleneck instead of that cute off-shoulder style it’s supposed to be. I might try to tack down the sides with a stitch so it stays put, but it definitely shouldn’t require DIY fixes. It’s a shame, because it really is a cute sweater and the fabric feels great.
