For reference I am 5’8” and 185lbs and this skirt was not see through at all and absolutely adorable!! It even has pockets! I got it originally for a concert but I will definitely wear this over and over again!! It fit high waisted so if you want it to be low waisted maybe order up a size so that it can fit lower and plan to hem it because it fit length wise perfectly when it was high waisted. It stopped right about my ankles! The material felt quite durable as well! Not a stretchy material and very comfortable!! The first picture was me spinning!! I wore this cute skirt when I knew that my girlfriend was going to propose to me and it couldn't have been a better choice! At first, it was a little wrinkly, but with one wash it was perfect. The color is quite light and it is so much fin to twirl around in. I am 5'6" and I wanted to wear heels, so the medium fit me better than the small. The medium also had a roomier waist. i love wearing this during summer !! it's really cute and a good basic. it has two or three layers of fabric, but i still found it a bit sheer. the quality is pretty good and the waistband is stretchy. i'm 5'6" and it falls to my ankles (i have a longer torso so i usually wear it a bit lower on my hips).
