The description of this lamp needs some work but the lamp itself does not. It works well and has a lovely glass globe that casts wavy colors on surrounding walls and ceiling. It is for anyone and any age who likes color and/or the resulting soothing affects. Read more
Love this lamp. The lights it casts on the ceiling are very calming. Colors and speeds are adjustable. My daughter had one in her bedroom and I liked it so much i bought one as a gift for my friend who I know will just love it. Then I decided to boot one for myself too. I tried a different version that was not wired and had usb charging bit the colors and coverage weren't as good and the globe was plastic instead of glass. I much prefer this one but it does need to be plugged in. Great for any age imo. Read more
I wanted this thing for a while after several Christmas decoration shopping which ate up my money quickly which I'm now done with and oh boy, this was worth the buy and wait where it's more beautiful than I thought and it's USB powered which will save me more money as a shopaholic. Absolutely perfect! Great night light! Very pretty compared to others I’ve purchased for my baby. This one is definitely better quality. The colors are vibrant and beautiful! The light moves like ocean waves or the northern lights. It’s great for anyone bc you can change the colors to fit your preference. It’s very light weight. Comes packed properly. Plug-in only, not battery powered. The only issue is that the remote control may work for other similar lights. For example, my baby has a hello kitty wall light from impressions that turns on when I press the power for this light so I keep it unplugged but my baby also has an impressions mirror light that doesn’t turn on with the remote. My daughter has a very active imagination. Everything in her room at night turns into a monster. She gets very scared to sleep on her own and it’s been a real struggle. She’s 10 years old and it’s been ongoing for quite some time. I think I’ve tried five or six different types of nightlight from various companies in the past. This one is hands-down, the best one. It really does feel like you’re under the sea when she uses it in the blue teal light color. She absolutely loves it and it’s been a game changer because now I can sleep in my own bed. I absolutely love it. The quality is really good. I love that it’s made out of glass. The remote control is a little finicky. Seems like your typical low quality remote control. So I end up using the controls on the actual light itself. Doesn’t really matter since we use it to turn on and then turn it off. It does have a timer on it, but I have not bothered to try that. Because by the time she’s asleep, I go to bed too. Also wanted to point out that even though it’s made of glass, it does NOT get hot. That I think is an important thing to note as it is a safety concern. There’s a photo of my daughter in her bed getting cozy (not yet asleep). It can get pretty bright in the room. So I put it on the lowest light setting and it still bright. But it doesn’t seem to affect her sleep. Read more
I love the color choices and light effect that looks like reflective water through glass globe. It’s a bright light, best to shield it by putting something in front of it. I would recommend! Read more
Mesmerizing!! My experience: - Creates beautiful, water-like movement on wall and ceiling; relaxing to watch - Lots of color options & remote works well - We have it on a dresser that is right next to the wall; it projects well (bright!) on the surfaces (wall and ceiling) that are within about 5-8 feet - It would be cool if it projected further, but for the price and size it serves our purposes well Read more
