This is a nice unit!
I cannot believe that I just discovered this setup of triple small slow cookers, it think it's awesome. For those into health like myself, I prefer to cook small meals at a low temperature multiple per week, as opposed to storing a large amount in the refrigerator for a week. As not to be bias, I should point out a few things. Firstly, I confirm that the cooking inserts will not hold more than 1.5 cups (350 mL) of legumes or grains, in fact 1.5 cups would be pushing it. Most of the people I know prefer to have the option to cook larger amounts than 1.5 cups at a given time. If you are that person, I would recommend the 2.5 liter version. I should also mention that the spoons are plastic so, in the interest of health, I certainly will not use the plastic spoons. Lastly, due to it's length, the unit takes up a little more space than I anticipated. Overall, I reiterated that I really like this item, it is relatively inexpensive, and invaluable for those looking to "individually" cook multiple small dishes over night on one unit! Oh, one other thing, wipe down the cooking inserts and tops before using. Everything was nicely packed but there were specks of dust here an there.
