I ordered these in black, size large, and while I’m 5'7" with fairly long legs, they still felt much longer than expected, definitely dragging without shoes. I ended up folding the waistband down a bit to make the length more manageable, which worked fine, but next time I’d probably go for the “short” version of the large. The material is more like a structured, stretchy dress pant, which is different from the flowy, chiffon-like fabric I usually associate with palazzo pants. It feels like a nice, thicker material that could be great for cooler months, but overall the fit around the waist and hips felt a little bulky, almost like a sweatpant cut in the front and back. The waistband itself is firm but not uncomfortable, and folding it down helped with the length. The fabric feels like a cross between dress pants and nice hiking pants. Soft, with a little bit of texture to it, but no noise. It is a medium weight fabric, and the wide leg on these pants is done very well. It has movement and space but isn’t overly large or exaggerated. The length of these were just above the floor for me, perfect with a pair of shoes. I chose this pair of pants for comfort and lounging but honestly, except for the drawstring, they could be work attire. They have deep pockets, a nice style and hemline, and the fabric is wonderful. For ref. 5’7” #143 40-32-38 and the small is a little tight on my waist but wearable. Still wondering how I chose a small size. Medium must have been taken. I have other pants from this brand and love them, so I was excited to try this new style. The elastic waistband and drawstring give these pants a more casual, sporty look, no belt required. I like that the slit pockets don’t add bulk to the hip area. The fabric is very nice! It’s thick and definitely not see through. However, the fabric will feel hot in the summer as it is not at all breathable. The wide leg style is very flattering to my body shape when worn higher on my waist and with heels. (I have shorter legs and a longer torso, and am widest at my hips.) I find them true to size and ordered a L which fit my women’s 8-12 30” waist 5’6” frame perfectly. Read more

Im a medium in shirts and can go xs - M in pants depending. In jeans I’m a 6/8. I ordered these in a Medium short. I am 5’2” and the listing indicated the short length was appropriate for those shorter than 5’4” i believe. These pants almost swallowed me whole. I wonder how much difference a small would have made. I just worried about it being tight in the waist (where i carry my weight). As it is, the medium SHORT were floor length. Can wear them with flats but barely. AND that’s only if the waist is pulled basically all the way up to my boobs. I know high waist is in, but I don’t know that it’s supposed to be quite that high. I did keep them and am going to attempt to make them work. I hate heels but I may try and see. The fabric is nice and gives the look of a dress pant. Read more
