Don't wash it!

Let me start by saying this little rug is awesome. My son's bathroom is shark-themed and he loved this rug. After a few weeks of having it, I decided to wash it becuase.. germs... well that was a terrible idea. I washed it all by itself on the gentle cycle and on cold and the thing fell apart. I'm sure I missed where it said it couldn't be washed and that's on me but I just wanted to let everyone know... DO NOT WASH IT. Other than that though it is a great rug.
