I cannot accurately explain how amazing this toy is! There’s no annoying squeak, but I can tell that she hears it because her ears perk up when I squeeze it and all I hear is a muffled whoosh of air, but she gets so excited! She takes it into whatever room in which we are spending the most time - the office on weekdays and downstairs in the living room on weekends and holidays. She keeps it close always. She doesn’t fetch most toys, but this toy she always brings back because she loves the chasing and the sound it makes. I’ve never seen a more durable toy. I paid less than $10, and the price went down to $5 before Christmas and I considered buying another for backup and also for gifts, but the stock ran out before I decided to purchase again. I doubt I will need one as a backup, because the fabric is so sturdy and it is sewn with intensive reinforced seams that I can’t see her chewing through even though she destroys most plush toys. But she loves this toy so much, I don’t think she would chew it up. It is so adorable! Most silent squeaker toys are really ugly, or they are not as sturdy. I bought her a different toy for Christmas and it didn’t last much longer than 24 hours before a leg got torn off. Amazon says they are out of stock, and I really hope they get more in stock, because every dog owner should own this toy, especially if they work from home or get migraines from loud high pitch squeaks like me. I cannot recommend this toy highly enough! Buy it as soon as it is back in stock with no hesitation! Update: My first review is for the penguin. It is still her favorite toy aside from her mini squeaky balls because she is a fetch addict. Since my review, I added the penguin to my Subscribe and Save items because the price is great and they don’t get destroyed especially for how long they last, but the wings get a little frayed and it gets dirty, sometimes the squeaker wears out but that’s just from very frequent use. I have a new one new penguin toy delivered every three or four months. Also since my first review, I ordered the platypus. The platypus was another instant favorite. I think she actually likes the shape of the platypus better, as she likes to shake him back and forth with her head when she has him in her mouth. So again, although this guy is rally durable, we have purchased more platypuses to have them on hand as sometimes she takes them upstairs and it is difficult for me to get up the stairs. Plus we order new versions because she just loves when the toy and squeaker are new. I imagine the squeak is louder when it hasn’t been squeaked hundreds of times. It’s tough to be a beloved dog toy. I forgot to mention that my pup Mori is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is very small compared to normal PW Corgis. She weighs in at just about 20 pounds and is thinner and a bit taller too. The size of all of the toys have been perfect for her. She can carry it without it dragging and she can still shake it side to side. I most recently bought her the Orca whale for her birthday (Happy 4th Birthday sweet girl!) and she really liked him. I can tell that this is not going to be the epic status of favorites like the penguin and platypus, but she enjoys playing with her. This one is a big bigger and longer compared to the others. It does not drag on the ground, but I can tell she has to use more effort to carry her with her head a little higher than the others. It doesn’t get as many shakes either. This one the fabric does not seem as thick and reinforced as much as the penguin and platypus, but it still should last a decent amount of time as it doesn’t get as much frequent play as her favorites I recommend these dog toys with all of my heart. You will not be disappointed! They are not chew-proof - most plushies are not, but they last pretty long and should get a lot of play. Maybe it will be your pets favorite toy too! Read more

The media could not be loaded. The toy my dog needed! My dog is both extremely hard on toys and really needs them. As a heeler, he REALLY likes to bite, and like most intense herding breeds, it's soothing for him to hold a squeaky toy and proceed to squeak it incessantly. I'm talking about 1 squeak every 30 seconds, and despite my abnormal level of patience and tolerance, even I can't take that forever lol As such, I looked up whether silent squeaky toys were a thing... I couldn't buy this fast enough when I saw that not only is Silent Squeak a real thing, but that TrustyPup makes it in their Chew Guard Technology toys! Chew Guard are the only toys my precious baby dingo doesn't annihilate immediately, while still being interested in. These toys are soft, a great size (my dog is just under 30lbs), and come in a nice variety. I didn't think I would ever find a toy that combined my dog's favorite things in a toy: fuzzy exterior, plush but sturdy, crinkles, and squeaks. This toy has all of his favorite things in a package that he hasn't destroyed and that doesn't drive anyone nuts - he can even take this toy to bed! I want to replace every toy in this house with TrustyPup Strong 'N Silent with Chew Guard ones, no joke!! I additionally love that it IS a stuffed toy, and well stuffed at that; my dog likes even the stuffingless ones (good thing, since he makes them that way regardless, save for his Platypus), but prefers stuffed. I like knowing I don't have to stare at him to ensure he's not ingesting stuffing whilst strewing it about my home like he's decorating for Christmas. He's had this toy for about three or four days now, this is WAY more than enough time to test whether "Tater can gator" this. He has determinedly nibbled and gleefully pulled at the paws, bill, eyes, literally anything that he can usually find a weak spot in...to no avail. As I was watching him, I allowed him to remove the fabric tag, but that's all he has been able to rip off there, and no seams were impacted during his surgical removal of said tag. Truly, I expected "Platy" to lose his cute flipper-like feet in short order, but you genuinely cannot tell my landshark has been at them at all! This all makes me feel like this toy is safer AND an incredible value for the money! I happened to get it on sale during Black Friday, but even without the discount for the sale, this toy is worth the price for something that will actually last that my dog is utterly in love with. Tater has been showing it off to friends and family (canine, feline, and human), established it as his new comfort toy right away, and takes it everywhere with him. I believe he would give it 5 stars as well! We both highly recommend this toy line! Check out the varieties to find one that has your dog's favorite toy features and enjoy the silence as you watch your dog live their best life with the toy! You can clearly see Tater is doing so in the review vid and pics, excuse the environment, he got to test it while I was working (dog groomer). DOG TESTER DETAILS: 1 year 8 month old miniature "Texas Heeler," a purpose-bred working mixture of Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog, who weighs about 27lbs. Tater is, obviously, high energy, and it's intense energy! He might lack the power-chewing jaw strength of a bully breed, but this miniature dingo creature typically obliterates stuffed toys in minutes. If you've got a living seam ripper and/or your dog needs to squeak their toy every half second or so for an hour+, Tater says this is the toy! Read more

Not very strong, but is silent. My dogs aren’t chewers or nibblers, but this toy lasted less than 2 total hours before the stuffing was everywhere. My dogs don’t chew on toys, it just so happens that it was caught in a game of tug o war and the toy lost. For 2 hours worth of play it is not worth it for the money. I usually love the silent squeak toys because they are easier on my ears and they allow me to attend my online video appointments without the dogs squeaking in the background and driving me nuts. The size is average and reasonable. The colors were nice. The weight was on par with other toys in this size and type range. The dogs loved it for the 2 hours they had it. I believe the garbage is neutral as it doesn’t have feelings or needs, but that is where it ended up after being torn apart. This is the fastest torn toy I have ever purchased and I’ve bought this exact toy in the past with no issue. I’m not sure if the quality has diminished or changed in the last 2 years from the last one I purchased that lasted several months. Overall I’m not sure I could recommend this due to the cost and lack of longevity, but if you do purchase one, may the odds be ever in your favor. Read more

Highly recommended by an Australian Kelpie. He gnawed off the tag the first day. It's taken him a few months but we've stitched up what's remaining of it's 4 legs and bill so it can last a little longer. Dog toys don't last forever and, for the price, it's worth every penny having a toy without an audible squeaker. Read more

We are very happy with this item. Our dog has torn up every soft toy we have ever given her and she has loved playing with this and it shows no destruction. We will buy another. Read more
