This is a nice size bag. It's not overly large and has plenty of room. My issue is that while it does smell like leather; it feels thin and very cheaply made. The snap closure is easy to open and without a zipper at the top or other protection, it will make losing items easy if you accidentally tipped it upside down or worse while out - let's just say it's easy to get into. I loved the back zipper pocket - great for my phone. The inside front pocket easily held my phone as well. The strap is adjustable - but it just wouldn't stay on my shoulder, it slipped like crazy. For a handbag - price point is on par with others of this quality. It is well made as far as stitching goes and multiple pockets are great. This just wasn't for me - it's too thin and I have my doubts how well it will hold up after months of use. Read more

From a functionality standpoint, I like this bag. It's a pretty basic crossbody style, with a good amount of space, and I like that there are multiple pockets (2 with zippers) both inside and outside of the bag. The magnetic latch hooks securely, which I appreciate, and I like the look of the envelope-style foldover top. The strap is a good length for me, but I do wish it was a bit wider, both from a comfort and looks standpoint. The metal hardware and zippers seem sturdy and function well. The material the purse is made of is disappointing. The listing states that the purse is "real genuine leather"...but I'm not so sure. The look, feel and smell of the material...as well as the way it attaches to the nylon lining, and the way it bends...seem much more like PU faux leather rather than real leather to me. It is thin and has a slightly plasticky look to it that you don't usually get with real leather. I can't for sure say 100% that it's not genuine leather...but I really question it. If it is indeed genuine leather, it's a very poor quality leather that looks significantly better in the listing pictures than it does in real life. In person, the bag comes across looking somewhat cheap due to the look of the material it is made of. So overall, in spite of the good functionality of the purse, I'm pretty lukewarm about it and wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. Read more

This is a very soft and pliable bag. A little too soft for my liking, but that may come down to personal preference. It feels like it would be plenty durable, so if you want something very soft and flexible this might be for you! It definitely looks, feels, and smells like real leather. It has a smooth (polyester? nylon?) lining on the inside that should be quite durable and allows items to slide in and out easily. I tried to show the various pockets and zippers in the photos and videos. The magnetic closure is plenty strong but it needs to line up right when closing it to snap into place as is pretty common for this type of closure. My wife remarked that this could easily be a unisex messenger bag, appropriate for both men and women or otherwise. Also note that this is made in India, not China. I know some people care about that. Overall this is a pretty simple but nice bag. Nothing spectacular but also quite affordable for genuine leather. Read more

This TRUTANN Leather Bag is really nice! The leather is beautiful, and the quality and care that was put into this bag is obvious. It has plenty of room while still keeping a compact size. I like the messenger style vibe, and the flap feels like it gives a bit more security for me. There's also a back pocket that actually seems to be a feature of this brand since I've seen the same 1 on a few of their bags now. This purse is made of genuine leather. The smell of real leather is unmistakable. But the leather is thin and the overall build of the purse just feel flimsy (both the bag and the straps). The bag is big enough and has multiple compartments to fit large wallet, phone, keys, etc. But due to the flimsy build, I would not overfill this bag, especially with a small tablet as it was advertised. The shape of the bag is very boxy. I was hoping that the boxy shape would appear more like a vintage style, but it's just boxy and a little awkward. So overall I'm not super pleased with the quality, even though it seems like genuine leather. Read more
