Easy to peel and works really well. If you stick in your case make sure it's inside because it's hard to remove so don't tick directly to your phone unless you don't mind having it stuck for a while. Will probably leave glue residue but nothing some goo gone can't remove. Read more

They get the job done, but depending on your application they might be a bit too small. I also recommend taking a file and ruffing up the surface to prevent slipping. Con, plates don't always remain stuck to the back of the phone. Same prep on same surface gives mixed results over time. Read more

My wife and I both have Naztech MagBuddy phone holders in our cars. But we needed new metal plates because we have upgraded our phones. However, I have a black phone and case; she has white. So, the first thing that caught our eye was the fact that this set of plates include both black and silver colors. Secondly, we were trying to apply the plates in an "off center" location on the back of the phones, so we could still use magnetic charging. This set of plates came in different sizes and shapes, which allowed us to try different locations on the phone case that would avoid the center charging area as well as the camera. The plates are thin enough that we could place them between the phone and the phone case to try out different mounting locations. Once we had the optimum location, I took the plate back out and removed the self adhesive protection to mount it on the back of the case. We found that when the plate was located between the case and the phone, the thickness of the case reduced the magnetic attraction, just enough that we might not want it there permanently. But it worked very well for the experimentation and enabled us to find the optimum location. I also used one of the round plates to connect to the center of the suction cup of my GPS mount and that worked very well, allowing me to then mount my GPS to the Naztech holder for long trips (I have never had good luck with suction cup mounts alone). We have been using these plates for about two months now and the adhesive has held very well - both on the back of a phone case and on the rubber surface of the GPS suction cup. We found that my phone case, with a "ribbed surface" did not provide sufficient surface area for good adhesion, so I trimmed the rubber ribs off in the area of the plate and it has held perfectly since.
