Great little stand. Being lightweight and folding down so thin allows it to fit in my Switch case which is excellent. My sturdier but heavier and larger stand from Power A is even better but not as easily portable, so I just use it at home, mostly for my phone. Read more
I use the Lepow portable monitor (great for the Switch) to play Animal Crossing and use this stand with a USB C to USB C to connect it to the Switch so it's not just laying on the table. However, I have the plain black Amazon basics Switch stand. It's fine, but seems really boring after seeing this one. I bought the monitor for my daughter for Christmas, so of course she needed a stand too. I wish I bought one for myself. I didn't want to give it to her, but I did because I thought out of sight, out of mind. Well, I'm still thinking about it every time I look at my perfectly usable, but boring black stand. This feels sturdy and there are several angles to choose from. On a side note my daughter is 27 and I'm much older than 27. Animal Crossing is for any age. My 56 year old sister plays too. We've played every version since the GameCube. Very relaxing and easy game for people who don't have the reflexes for other types of games or just enjoy something casual. This would be a great stand to use if you have difficulty playing handheld if you have arthritis or other issues that make it difficult to hold the Switch, but you don't want to play on your TV. It's definitely cheap plastic and if I nudge it, it ends up falling to another notch or dropping altogether. It's good for a display though and for the price, it's not bad. Read more
Perfect design for my desk when I need to squeeze in some gaming time on my lunch breaks from work. Folds up and tucks away nicely, perfect angles help reduce any glare on the screen. Read more
I spotted this in the "Related Products" while looking for something only tangentially related, but it caught my eye. I don't at this time have a TV or monitor easily available to me to plug my Switch into, which means holding it to play, and for as much as I love it, it can get heavy after a time. And putting it on my tablet stand doesn't work because, depth-wise, it's too thick to sit properly. So when I spotted this stand, I decided to give it a shot. IMO it's become as essential as the power cord or JoyCons. Not only does it make for a handy rest while the Switch is not in use, but it's great to set on the end table next to me with the screen section of the console while I sit back with the detached JoyCons in my hands to play with ease. And I've not tried it yet, but the stand folds down so thin and is small enough that I think it would even fit in my Switch carry case. And it weights all but nothing. Whether it fits in the case or not, though, this stand now goes anywhere my Switch does. Read more
