TSLA Men and Women Thermal Fleece Skull Cap Winter Ski Cycling Under Helmet Liner Running Beanie Hat

I got a few of these for me and my wife to keep the windchill off of our faces while cycling this winter. They are comfortable and effective at keeping the chilly air from stinging your cheeks. Its a little tricky to put it on the first couple times, but once you figure it out it gets easier. The flaps that cover the ears dont seem to lay flat like in the picture, but since i wear a bike helmet over it, thats not really a big deal for me. The only other issue is i have to pull the face part down when the bike is not moving or it will fog up my glasses. Not a problem for me but if you're using it for other purposes like walking or hiking, and you wear glasses, that might become annoying. For me, as soon as i atart moving again the wind ensures I don't fog up once I pull the mask over my face again. Another point worth mentioning, while the oitside has a very nylon like slipper texture, it has a different fabric lining the inside which is very soft and warm. I ride a Motorcycle so got it for cold days but when I put it on there is no coverage for the back or side of your neck. The picture is deceiving and I thought the bottom 1/2 wraps all the way around your neck but it does not so not good for bikers or motorcyclists in Cold weather. However! Plus side! Fits great on my head and doesn’t slip with your helmet. I have long hair and usually get helmet head after taking my baklava off but this one fits like a glove and my hair was still in a pretty ponytail when I removed the helmet. Other options fit loose and when I adjust my helmet it messes up my hair. So plus and minuses.. on hot days I may use it. It does protect the wind very well since it’s fleece lining on the parts of your face that are covered but man the back of my neck gets cold! Hope this helps! Read more

I once had a set that included a separate face mask from a cap, and that was the best match for my needs, but it’s been difficult to find again. However, I have found this to be very comfortable to wear while riding my bicycle when it is cold. I’ve worn and washed this hat/mask many times, and it has not stretched out nor shrunk. I often pull down the face mask when I go into stores, etc., and when I pull the mask back up, it still fits snugly. I also appreciate that this fits me, as a woman. It seems like the majority of sports hats and gloves are in larger sizes. It’s also nice that this is in white; my previous winter protection for head and face were dark blue and black, and people would kind of look askance at me, like I was there to rob a bank (too many bad movies out there). If my head gets cold, I could run into some unwanted health issues. Purchased this skull cap to be worn by itself, while bike and motorcycle riding with a helmet and while exercising outdoors on the "good" days. It has a couple of extra layers that help keep the heat in better than the single ply and is large enough to not feel like you have a rubber band around your head, which can be somewhat distracting after a while. Keep it clean by popping it int the wash and try not to over dry. Really like the benefit of keeping my head warm so I do not to have to turn up the heat to stay comfortable in the cooler days.
