The media could not be loaded. Wanted a toy the dogs could use to play tug of war together and this has turned out great! It does (apparently) have a squeaker in it, but it almost never gets squeaked. The dogs run around each carrying an end - side by side - having a grand time taking turns leading the other. Unlike other fabric / stuffed toys, it really didn't spur them to tear or shred it. It's a stiff fabric with really strong piping around the edges, so it's been durable. They eventually did chew a hole in it, but the innards were cotton, not the dangerous polyfil we worry about with stuffed toys. Still not ideal for them to swallow (which they do), but better... Anyway, we'd buy another one once this one wears out. Read more

Excellent toy! We have been through many different kinds of toys from stuffed, to not stuffed, to "virtually indestructible", and the list goes on..searching for one that doesn't get torn apart with the stuffing everywhere within the hour of him playing with it. We were looking for something that had stuffing and squeakers in it because that was his favorite. I came across this brand in a store and saw that it was built to last and figured I would give it a try. He has had that toy for months now and there is only about a quarter size rip in the outside material. We were amazed! I went looking for more of these toys at the local pet store but they didn't have them. I was very pleased to find them on here. I purchased this toy thinking it would be good to tug with. When I received it in the mail it was much bigger than I expected! I was pleasantly surprised. Although the toy is just about as big as he is, he still plays with it and enjoys the squeakers. We have also had this toy for a few months and have been amazed that it is all still in one piece. I would definitely purchase more toys of this brand. They are definitely worth the money! Now, if they could come up with a ball that he won't be able to tear apart that would be even better! Read more

Our 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd has pretty much destroyed every toy we've bought for him---EXCEPT THIS ONE!! He can play with it, tug with it, toss it, but he hasn't been able to destroy it! This is a great toy for him to play with outside, especially, since he likes to fetch it then play tug with it. Great toy, well made, sure to hold up to our German "shredder" ---!!! Read more

This is the second time I’ve purchased this toy for our 3 year old pittie mix. She pulls this out of the toy box more than any other toy, and the previous one lasted about a year. Our pup pulls HARD, and this toy holds up to her abuse. I love the fact that the hole for my hand is far away from where her mouth is! 10 out of 10 for durability and fun! Read more

My two year old Doberman absolutely loves all the Tuffy toys. The Ultimate 3 Way Tug is great for us because it supports aggressive play. Some days he really likes to chew them and some days he just carries them around like his baby but either way they are always well loved so the fact that they stick around this house for more than a day shows that they are quite durable. My dogs have some kind of weird sense that they know when a package comes with a toy in it. They got super excited when the Tuffy came. I have a relentless and tireless Red Heeler and a tough , chubby beagle. They both keep us busy with wanting attention. When I can find something that will keep them both occupied for a while it’s a nice break. So far , so good…most toys are destroyed within a day or two. The TUFFY appears to be long lasting as well! Will definitely be buying other Tuffys! Read more

Our 90 pound Old English Bulldog and his partner in crime - a 5 month old puppy of the same breed are both relentless - hardcore chewers. So I know that buying virtually any soft or stuffed dog toy is the equivalent of pre-mediated murder - for the toy not the dogs! However, these tug of war toys are without question one of the most entertaining dog toys we've ever had. Both for the dogs and for us, as we sit back and watch them go berserk. When our oldest, Harley was a puppy he had this odd habit of chewing on seams or pulling strings out of anything from pillows to upholstery until the entire thing was unraveled. We thought this was a puppy phase and he would grow out of it. Well, it's six years later and we're still waiting. He does this with everything, including our bedding - which is why our prized 1,200 thread count sheets look like swiss cheese. So we know when going into buying a soft or stuffed toy that it doesn't stand a chance - he's going right for that seam, with deadly accuracy.I bought the Ultimate Tuffy Tug of war toy earlier this month. What's left of it is lost somewhere in that endless void of half chewed nylabones, Kongs, tennis balls and once adorable stuffed bunnies and hedgehogs that now resemble road kill. So, I decided to crank up the crazy and buy the Ultimate 3 way Tug of War by Tuffy. At a whopping 25 inches long and 9 inches wide there's plenty of room for you to get in on the fun without getting your hands put through the industrial meat grinder, that is their jaws. The hole in the center is perfect for any human to grab on and press the lunacy lever into over drive. If you have one dog or many - this is a must have toy. It's very well made and strong enough for "normal" dogs. Unless of course you live in our world where the only material that would have real lasting power would be Kryptonite. Life is short so if they have fun it's worth it. And the fun that our dogs as well as ourselves get from this toy is well worth the price - even though we know that for the poor Tuffy Toy, it's days are numbered. 5 Paws Up! Read more

material is tough but not tough enough, my puppy already started to rip the binding. I am going to take it away for awhile, maybe when he is older we can play tug o war without him trying to chew it. Read more
