I read a zillon pillow record before deciding on this pillow. Not diappointed. It really is a great pillow. It doesn't go flat. My kids try and steal it so I plan to get them one for Christmas. It's hard to choose a pillow online without touching it and feeling it, but I have not regretted this purchase. I really am a pillow snob too. It's firm and does not go flat, yet it is soft. Also it's feels cooling during hot flashes. Read more

Bought this as an alternative to the down feather pillows I've had and been loyal to, for years. This pillow is quite a contrast, much more head support, it just might be the thing needed for mild sleep apnea. It cradles my head nicely in any position (back, side) and also provides very pleasant, very nice neck support. I think I maybe saying byebye to the feather pillows soon. I am not an impulse buyer by any means, but saw this on Amazon Prime Day specials, and for $41, gave it a try -- I'm glad I did. I like that the cover comes off and is washable. It's quite perky and holds its shape; a positive addition. I noticed I'm sleeping deeper with less tossing and repositioning during the night. It's a supportive, comfort purchase I'm quite pleased with. Read more

The pillow is well made and has a pleasant texture, but unfortunately, it lacks adequate support. When I rest my head on it, it compresses significantly, providing little to no push back/support. With a thickness of only about 2 inches when I lie down, it’s not suitable for my sleeping preferences as a side and stomach sleeper. While it may be one of the softest pillows I've encountered, it feels almost hollow inside (its not it just feels as if the foam on the outside is more supportive than the foam in the middle). At 6'2, I struggle to find a comfortable position that doesn’t strain my neck. I’ve tried folding it for added height, which improves comfort somewhat, but then it becomes too thick. For reference, I usually find pillows too firm, but this one feels more like resting my head on the mattress or my arm. If it were twice as firm, I believe I would enjoy it much more, as it currently allows my head to sink too deeply, basically bottoming out on the mattress. I do not recommend this for anyone who has large shoulders, or just a tall build in general. When I lay on it like a back sleeper my head does fully sink threw and ultimately rest directly on the mattress. Its just too soft to the point where it offers virtually no support what so ever. ----- After using this for about 20 days my opinion of it has changed, I generally sleep well with it, it is still overly soft I wish it was more firm and had maybe 1 inch more of head lift too it. Genuinely than I feel it would be perfect, it just took some time to get use to the thinness of the pillow and while I do feel it is still on the thin side I've come to like it more, however I still do believe an extra inch worth of lift would absolutely make me love this pill while my neck is relatively straight while using it it ever so slightly slopes down. I've given the pillow two extra stars after nearly 3 weeks of use, the neck pain I got at first was transitional but I do feel it could use ever so little more support for my build. Read more

At the time of writing this review, I've only had the pillow for about a month, I am also a back/side sleeper and 6'1 250 with what I'd say are fairly broad shoulders. It's honestly somewhat hard to describe this pillow since it's the first of it's kind that I've used. It's very soft to a certain point, but not soft to the point where it just gives in without any resistance. Of course after a certain point it becomes firm but not rock hard when the foam compresses. Firm enough to sleep on my side while also being soft enough to sleep on my back and provide support for my head/neck. I bought this pillow about a week after buying the bed since my previous pillows didn't feel right anymore. It did have a slight smell after opening it, but it only lasted about a day, and it wasn't bad enough that I smelled it through my pillowcase while sleeping. The first few nights took a bit of getting used to, my old setup had me using 2 pillows, a larger soft one and a thinner hard one with the hard one angled downward so that my shoulders could rest on it while sleeping. So when I switched, it was a completely different feeling. At first I was regretting my purchase since I couldn't find a comfortable position, the issue was that I was still trying to get my shoulders to rest on the pillow which raised my neck and head too high. After getting used to the pillow though, I can confidently say that I do not regret purchasing it at all. I cannot say whether or not this is a great value or anything since this is my first pillow above $30, but that's still fine, the pillow provides enough comfort and support for me. Read more

These aren’t great. They’re made all but offer little to no support on your side, I need to stack both of them to kind of have the right height between my shoulder and head as a side sleeper. They were part of a deal with my mattress and I threw the boxes away so I’ll keep them but I don’t recommend them unless they’re just a travel/decor pillow homestly. Read more

I suffer from chronic migraines and severe neck arthritis that causes painful spasms. I've spent a fortune on pillows hoping to find relief, and used to switch pillows multiple times per night trying to get comfortable. After several weeks with the Tuft & Needle pillow, I haven't been tempted to switch even once. It feels incredibly soft yet provides excellent support without being rigid. The loft is perfect for cradling my head and neck. While it hasn't eliminated my pain (likely nothing will), I'm finally comfortable at night, which honestly feels like a miracle. Highly recommend for side sleepers dealing with neck issues. This pillow has given me something I thought was impossible: a full night's sleep without pillow switching. Read more
