The overall aesthetic of this tulip shell shaped lamp is adorable, you just plug it in and that's it, so simple in its usage. However, the cable is veryyyy short, I'd say it's about 9 inches or so. So I had get a female to male USB extension cable to display it where I wanted it to be. Unless your outlet is close to where you want to use it, I suggest getting that. The general quality is relatively flimsy and delicate so do be careful when handling it. I noticed that a part of the finish? the iridescent part on the shell is already coming off and when I took it out of the box one of these pieces broke off lol. My daughter, who's 10, pick this one out. I can't say I would have chosen this style but it does look nice once it is plugged in. You do need to provide your own USB wall plug or have an available USB port nearby. The power cable is rather short for a night light in my opinion. It has tiny clear beans that go inside the clamshell to give it a nice shimmering look. The downside is that might make this not the best to take travelling or on camping trips.
