I am 50 and I need to use brightening skincare products because I usually get very fine blemishes if I do not make it consistent. I ordered this to see if it is good as other face cleansers. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT 1. This comes as a 2-pack. Each soap is 3.5 ounces, which is pretty typical for turmeric soaps. I think the number of bars is pretty good when considering the value. 2. I think that these soaps are fragrant. It is citrusy in scent. I do not find it to be too powerful. I am sensitive to citrusy scents though so it may not be too citrusy for other. 3. I wish this came with a net nylon bag as I usually keep my bar soaps in those bags so I can hang them and they dry faster to save some soap. 4. This is soap-based. It does a very good job lathering when I used one of my mesh nylon drawstring bags. 5. This rinses off easily. I do feel a little bit of tightening, but not too squeaky. I do have dry sensitive skin, but I put on products anyway as soon as I can to keep my face hydrated. 6. I think this would be good for those with dry sensitive skin if they follow it up with a hydrating moisturizer. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I think that this 2-pack turmeric soap is cost-effective and worth its value because these soaps last longer than other cleansers if they are dried properly. Read more

The soap looks nicely packaged. The quality of soap I'd say is slightly above average, because it's a little bit more on the denser side, which helps with it not being too slippery, and you don't really smell the ingredients mentioned on the product's description, which I found odd because lemon usually has a really nice and sharp sent, but on this soap its a lot more subdued.
