I like the color of the beanie and it fits okay. What I don't like though is that there is a seam running straight through the middle of it from the front middle all the way to the back middle. It's a little uncomfortable and looks a bit weird. You can't see it in any of the advertisement photos but it is there and really bugs me. The material is also thinner than it looks in the pictures. The way it's constructed with a fold along the bottom edge also makes it where you can't really adjust the height down or up. I have a slightly smaller than average head so moving it up gives to much extra space on top. It does work okay over a baseball cap though. Read more

This hat is the best of any hat I own. It's super thick, comfortable, stays put, and keeps me warm in winter. Other hats I own are thinner (more suitable for fall), and even the one I had that covered my ears didn't keep them warm at all if there was any wind. This hat IS windproof. My main worry was that this new hat would be so soft that it would ride up or not cover my entire ear, but that's not the case either!! It actually covers me way below my ear, to my chin. It fits snugly against my scalp even when I have my hair in a bun or ponytail (impressive!). My husband tried it on, and it looked great on him, but he said it was too snug for his taste. I'd be careful to wear a waterproof hooded jacket over this in wet weather, because it's knitted I don't think it'd do well in rain like a fleece material usually would. UPDATE: I wore this in moderate rain today, and while the outside of it did get soaked, the hat is so thick that it did not soak all the way through so my hair was still dry. Read more

Both my husband and I have worn the TUVATU KNIT BEANIE HAT WITH EARMUFF. I must say that we both looked a little bit like Teletubbies when we had the pretty blue one I ordered on our heads. Him more than me, of course. But who cares? We were seeking warmth, and this gave it to us in spades. If you can get over the Teletubby resemblance, and I can, this hat is kind of cute. It covers my ears nice and snuggly. It is well-made and doesn't let any wind or air through. We just moved to a place that has biting east winds. If not for this hat, I would surely be suffering from earaches every time I walked the dog. And believe me, if this hat can keep my ears from getting cold in this ferocious wind, it will work for any kind of sporting situation, including downhill skiing or snowmobiling.
