Strong Odor
These suction cups have an odd odor when you open the box. That isn't that big of a problem though, since it isn't something you are going to be wearing. After handling the cups, it is difficult to get the odor off you hands. I ended up using a mix of soda and dish detergent before I could get the smell off. But the odor on the cups may dissipate in time, but just be aware that it is there. However, the suction cups were in varying degrees of disarray. Seven cups didn't have a hook inserted in them at all and the hooks were just loose. Four others had the hook put on the suction cup backwards. Out of 15 suction cups, only four of them arrived with the hook properly placed on the suction cups. I tried hanging a washcloth on one of the hooks and it does not work when it is dry. In order for it to work, the cloth must be wet. But the cup does appear to have a strong grip. However, be aware that you are likely going to have to put most of these together. Read more

Great suction but very thick hook
I have quite a few pieces that I hang on my windows in my office and kitchen. I am always on the hunt for suction cup holders that will stay put because when they fall, my hangings can break. These cups have great suction and will hold weight. But the hooks are VERY thick. I like that they are clear unlike most metal hooks, but because they are so thick, I can't use them for most of my pieces as the point where they hang is too small. These will probably be best used in places like a bathroom where you are hanging brushes or other items that are heavier that don't have a small hole to hang from. But for more decorative pieces, they will probably not work. Read more
