This TV is a loser

The picture on this TV is way out of proportion. Normal TVs have an aspect ratio of 16x9, or 1.77. This TV measures 16.5x10.5, giving an aspect ratio of 1.57. This means people and objects look too tall and narrow. How did it even make it on the market? The remote is good with many features, but there is no pairing with your universal cable remote, and you must keep both of them together at all times. It does have adjustable color/tint controls as well as other adjustments to get the picture to look pleasing to the eye. A Zoom control changes the aspect for16x9 or 4x3, but cannot fix the bad aspect ratio of 1.57, as the frame size is all wrong. The speakers are facing away from the viewer, or toward the back, giving you a muffled low sound. I tried plugging in a sound system into the ear phone jack, but the volume is waaay down, and unuseable. Stay away from this TV. Read more

This brand is not listed in the Amazon Fire Stick pairing. For the life of me, I cannot get this TV paired with the FireTV remote. So for the time being, I'm stuck using the TV remote to turn it on, and then the FireTV remote to watch my Fire Stick. Harrumph. Read more
