DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! The first one I received was deformed and had a bunch of crystalized powder inside one of the bowls. There is freezing liquid on the inside walls of the bowls to keep them cold when you put them in the freezer and I think it leaked out and dried, causing the crystals. I returned it and received a second one that was not deformed but STILL had the crystalized powder!!! This was very concerning because how would I know whether or not this liquid is toxic???? I am NOT taking that chance and hope no one else does either. What a waste of time and money! Read more

ASIN: B0F89YZNRN $29.99 TWO BOWLS ice cream maker attachment for all KitchenAid stand mixers, makes homemade ice cream, gelato, sorbet, frozen yogurt Description: This ice cream maker attachment from EDWODER is designed for KitchenAid stand mixers. It includes two 250 ml frozen bowls, a drive assembly, connector, and dasher. The attachment promises small-batch ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt in about 15 minutes, with a direct-scoop design that lets users serve immediately after churning. Review: I was really looking forward to trying these, but the result was disappointing. I don’t have a deep freeze, so I can’t keep the bowls super cold (as other reviewers have mentioned), and when I made ice cream, it was kind of soupy, not a great texture for ice cream. It was also relatively hard to put together and even harder to take apart, especially since my hands aren’t very strong and my mixer sits high on the counter. The dasher doesn’t fit well into the chamber and sort of hangs loosely, which didn’t inspire confidence. Don't overfill the churn, or it will leak. There won't be leakage if you don't overfill. It makes as much noise as your mixer makes (my mixer is 35 years old, it makes noise). The churns are a fair weight but not TOO heavy. I really wanted this to work because I wanted to make small amounts of premium ice cream, but it just didn’t deliver. Even so, it’s not a terrible value since it’s inexpensive and technically does make ice cream. Works best if you have a really cold deep freeze to freeze the bowls. Read more
They are small enough to keep it in the shelf on the door of the freezer so it won't take up space in the freezer. Read more
This attachment fits KitchenAid stand mixers and makes it easy to prepare homemade ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yogurt. Having two bowls allows for back-to-back batches without long refreezing waits. The churning process is straightforward, and results are consistent with proper preparation. For KitchenAid owners who enjoy homemade desserts, it provides good value and added flexibility. Read more
I made two batches of ice cream with this today - because I have TWO BOWLS to make it with. The attachment hooked up to my KitchenAid mixer, just like it should, and assembling the bowl & paddle was pretty easy. It did take a turn or two to 'adjust' and run smoothly, but no issues and each batch churned for 8 - 10 minutes. Originally, I was thinking I could fit more into the bowl than the recipe called for, but the portions in the recipe book are JUST RIGHT for these bowls - once the ice cream thickens up, it takes up the whole bowl. Please use a rubber spatula when getting your ice cream out of the bowls - the inside will scratch easily with a metal spoon. Everything cleans up easily, and these bowls are small enough they'll go right back in the freezer for next time. Today I made a batch of coffee, and one of chocolate, following the recipes exactly. I think next time for the chocolate I'll use a little less cocoa powder, and for the coffee I'll use a little more expresso powder. Both are creamy and taste great...just making some adjustments for taste. Perfect way to make small batch, homemade ice cream. This one's a keeper! Read more

Piece of crap. Didn’t account for expanding metal when frozen. The plastic lid would not lock on. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The ice cream maker attachment does work — it successfully makes ice cream, gelato, and other frozen treats. However, it’s extremely loud during operation. The paddle scratches against the bowl, and as the ice cream freezes, the noise becomes hard to ignore. Also, it seems like you can only use about one cup of liquid at a time, which limits how much you can make per batch. It’s a great idea and would easily get five stars if it wasn’t so noisy. Read more
