These adult headbands have exceeded my expectations! The fabric is stretchy, the colours are vibrant, and they are just the right size. I was worried that they would be too wide, but it takes only a moment to pleat/gather/scrunch them so they look like they cost $$ instead of pennies each. I prefer to wear the twist seam at the back for comfort. Bonus - wearing it that way lifts my nape hair up and off my neck, so I feel cooler on hot days. The headbands do not slip out of place on my head, nor do they press on the bows of my eyeglasses. These comfortable, high quality head bands are an exceptional value. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love 3/4 of them (colors are a little off); however, these are very comfy and wider than expected (a positive in my book)! Keeps my hair out of my eyes and doesn't slip off my head like the thinner versions from the grocery store. Would love to pick and choose which colors to buy in batch of this size - but I didn't have any trouble finding takers when I gave those away. Value for money: Good quality and value for the number of items in the lot. Thickness: This size stays in place very well and doesn't slip off when moving around / bending over. Only complaint is the amount of material at the base of the neck at the back of my head. Wish they were a little more contoured. 5 HUGE ☆STARS☆!!! I know these are only (inexpensive, trivial) headbands, HOWEVER, allow me to explain my forthcoming dissertation, LOL... It would also help to preface my Review by saying: There is no other person more picky, more critical, or will scrutinize an item (or its impending purchase!) than ME!!! (Mostly because I am "budget conscious" (fixed income) AND I'm, truth be told, VAIN!!! Haha! Before settling on THIS purchase from THIS Vendor, for THESE set of headbands, I did my due diligence. Much like you, I'm sure, I compared all the various pricing(s), compared all the different "sets" (4 pk, 6 pk, 8 pk, 12 pk?!?? Whaaat?!!) and read ALL of the Reviews associated with each offering. It took me four (yeah, 4!) days to make up my mind!! (Did I mention, I think I have Libra rising!!⚖️♎️,🤭) Anyway, in MY personal opinion, this purchase, by far, made the most sense to me; economically AND esthetically. It appeared to meet all of my needs, so I took the leap & bought the 12 pack of "Dark Colors." I wear a lot of Reds & Blacks, so this pack/choice was a a "No brainer" for me, as it included two (2) different shades of Red. (Smart choice, riiight? Lol) Anywho... To cut-to-the-quick, THIS is one of my BEST purchases Ehhhh'ver!!! No... I really did NOT need 12 headbands, buuut...the price was right @ 83ć each, versus other Vendors offering the EXACT SAME headbands at nearly $2.00 a piece! (You heard me mention "fixed income," previously riiight? Lol) I'm sure I can gift, or share, the ones I don't plan on using, or let the pets (kitties & doggies) in my life sport a new accouterment along side their collars. ("Sharing is Caring!!!) Now for the specifics, as to how this purchase rated 5 ☆'s for me: ☆The Colors are awesome & suit my exact needs, ☆The price was extremely reasonable for this 12 pack, ☆It came packed in a cut little JAR! And not just tangled & gnarled-up in a messy heap, squeezed into a tiny ziploc bag! I thought that was a nice touch, from THIS particular Vendor; thank you kind people!, ☆The headbands are as exactly as DESCRIBED; sewn & twisted to display a cute lil "knot." I noticed other Vendors advertised them as "knotted," but their pictures showed otherwise; sewn straight across with a seam, NO cute knot!, and lastly, the BIG 5th Star... ☆With my recent health problems, I (sadly & regrettably) lost a LOT of my hair, particularly in the front, near my bangs area, you know... the part around YOUR FACE!! (Did I mention I was kinda VAIN?!!😜 This is a horrific situation for ANY woman, VAIN, or not, IMHO.) However, THESE headbands are PERFECT! They measure (as described) exactly 4" in Width, the most ideal & consummate width to cover my (or anyone's) "problem area." Yes, there are other offerings of headbands by other vendors measuring 5+" in width, but that would have been too much overkill for me! It would have covered most of the entirety of my whole head! Yep, 4" for me is precisely where it needs to be; I can still make a messy bun or updo a ponytail, as it ends where the crown of my head begins... picture-perfect!!!👍 I can freely, happily and gladly recommend THIS purchase & THESE headbands (and Vendor). These headbands are very soft and silky but are NOT nonslip in my hair. I was in the market for nonslip headbands to help cover my postpartum hair loss and thought these were super cute with great reviews. After I received them and put one on with my hair up it began slipping off my head about 3 minutes later. Quite the bummer but I should have known better once feeling how smooth they were.
