I brought this Tv for my sons security night job he loves it 🥰🥰, however it’s a white shadow almost in the middle of the TV but you can’t see it when the picture is on so that’s the main reason I’m sending it back for another TV the Picture Quality is good, but I don’t want that shadow in the middle just in case it decides to spread. local channels come in Excellent and I put a firestick on it to get Netflix, Prime and Tubi it came in good on the first day after I hooked up everything then the Firestick stopped working I took it off put it back on my tv it works but it’s not working on the portable TV it’s saying No Signal all of a sudden. I’m sending for a Replacement but overall this is a great TV for the price and so Convenient. I hope the replacement is working properly without the white shadow and the No signal however I did take out the 3 years Insurance Warranty. Read more
Hangs from a picture hook on the bathroom wall. Very convenient, but color quality lacking and I can't figure out a way to improve that. ***Very important note that there is a very, very tiny on/off switch right next to the power port on the back of the TV that must be turned to ON or the TV won't work!!!! Be sure to note that before you plug it in, as the power cord almost hides that switch. There is a very small sign on the bottom front of the TV that points to looking on the back for that switch. This is the only white 13 inch small tv that does just about everything that I could find. The first one was defective and had a green cast to the picture that could not be corrected and a loose USB port. So I contacted Amazon and they shipped a replacement the next day. The second one is near perfect, I did buy a small white RV antenatal for home use and it picks up more channels than I’ve previously received. Picture is clear and crisp on the standard picture mode. I suggest setting to surround sound as it is night and day from the factory setting. It made this little tv not cheesy sounding. There is a black piece of iron screwed to the back to give it some weight. even so, it is light and hangs easily on the wall . I don’t know if the iron does anything else for the tv other than giving it a few extra ounces of weight. I am super happy with this little tv and you can see it just as well from the side. I had the black Tyler 14 inch that you could not view if you weren’t dead center in the viewing area. Tyler has made a decent product for the price. Don’t forget it will work if the power goes out . I haven’t tried it on battery only mode. I also bought on the strength of previous solid reviews. I was a little disappointed the first one was a defect but was not totally surprised. the second one was worth the effort of returning. Read more
6 months ago I purchased this model of TV. It's been fine so I ordered a second of the same TV and the second one is junk. First off it doesn't seem to be charging. The red light is on, but it should change to green when the internal battery is charged completely, but it hasn't happened as yet. I plan on returning this one if it doesn't charge by the next day. Kinda disappointed that the quality is so poor. Did I just get lucky with the first TV? I gave my first one 5 stars,but not this one, it's junk I'm afraid, and don't recommend this product unless you're willing to take a chance. This television is really decent except for the fact that it has a charging unit that is junk. The television has a built in battery. If you use the charger to provide power while watching the television, eventually the charger won't be able to charge the battery. When you try to watch the television, the battery symbol shows in the upper left corner of the screen and the television will shut down because the battery needs charging, but the charging unit will no longer charge the battery. Overall, I give this TV a 3.5 star rating. We had an issue with one of the accessory plugs and Amazon was able to rectify that next day which was amazing. Let me start by saying that I bought this for a road trip along with a headrest mount and planned to stream with a fire stick connected to cellular hot spot along with USB movies. The picture while on a blue screen seemed that it might be subject to some unwanted highlights, but I found that after using the supplied extendable FTA antenna, I received HD TV with quite a nice picture for the size and price point of this TV. deduct 1/5 star as the menus are hard to to read when there is a picture going in the background and when there is not, the blue default is overpowering. I am not sure how I feel about the main power switch yet, When the TV is plugged in, it has a red light (which signifies battery low, it turned orange once power on and then green once fully charged. Important note: The power button does nothing without the main switch in ON position. It does have an printed message on the shipping screen protector that notifies you to turn on main power. I suspect this will come in handy for battery use, but for my application, I'll probably just leave it in the ON position and use the remote since it will be plugged into a 12v car supply. So the main switch may just be another button to press to conserve battery power. no deduction as the battery paower option requires this switch. I have not tried all the ports, but the HDMI works great for a fire stick. The one drawback, and not sure if this is a fire stick issue or a Tyler brand issue, but I am not able to program the volume / power buttons as Tyler brand is not available and there is zero info about which channel frequency it should be using. I tried all 6 that my fire stick allowed with no success. The remote that comes with the TV seems adequate and easy to use. Its slimmer top section makes it easier to hold for me with the thicker bottom without feeling bulky. no deduction as this is a fire TV issue. The build in stand is a nice feature for a table top / counter, which is where this will probably end up after out road trip. Speakers could (read should) be better. the built in rear firing speakers are ok for a quite room, but I am looking for an alternative plug for the trip as the road noise will surely drown it out. I hope that I can either hook up the bluetooth from the fire TV to the car audio, OR hard line a cable to the vehicles aux port. I'm bringing a portable set of speakers just in case. deduct 1 star for sub par speakers. Lastly, the extra cables that come with the TV are nice. having both 110v and 12 v plugs along with supplied antennas (both a magnet mount for travel and a longer extendable indoor antenna) and related RCA to 3.5mm adaptor are a bonus. it means really you need nothing else for this except perhaps an HDMI cable if your using something that does not plug directly into the HDMI port like a fire stick(i.e. dvd / blue ray player) Overall, I am impressed with some things and not so impressed with others.
