I wanted a ice cream maker that was sturdy, easy to use, and well made. I went through 3 and they were all so cheap and flimsy. I saw this one, ordered it, and love it. It is well made, very easy to use, and makes darn good ice cream. So glad that I bought this one and the price is low for a ice cream maker. I made butterfinger frozen custard with this tylr ice cream maker and all I can say is: OUTSTANDING, I am very pleased at how well this 2.1 quart ice cream maker performed. It only took about 38 minutes to freez the custard and this machine is not loud at all. I highly recommend this ice cream maker. Read more

Compact unit takes up less room on the counter than one with a condenser. You have to freeze the tub but a little planning is all that it takes to make that work. If you need more than a quart, you'll be better served with a different unit. Read more
