I wasn't expecting much from this since it was so cheap but I'm pleasantly surprised. The fabric is really nice and it's heavier than some of my other beanies so I know it'll last a long time. Fair discloser, I am a swim coach and mother to 5 competitive swimmers. I know that it is hard to get swimmers to wear these caps . . . at least female swimmers. But it really is helpful when it's cold and they have wet hair (ack, when did my mom start writing this!?!) I did order several different versions of these tyr hats and although this is a nice hat, it is my lease favorite of the bunch. This hat arrived bagged. The hat is sized lightly small so it fits my youngest and tweens but is slightly tight on me and my teens. The knit is tight and well made, there were no pulls, and the yarn is very soft. It seems to keep us warmer than the hats with a loose knit. The color is a clear heathered grey without any green or brown undertones. I feel this hat is slightly short as there isn't enough length to really fold it up and adjust. I like being able to do that to keep my ears warm. The leather tyr patch limits how you can fold it up. I was unable to find any manufacturing flaws. Read more

Order this because my son was on a swim team and most of the equipment was this brand, which I knew made quality items, so why not a winter knitted cap. :) First off, the material is extremely nice and thick. The stitching looks well done. It has decent amount of stretch and forms well around the head. My son, knowing the brand, instinctively grabbed off the counter and tried it on. He love it and it was very flattering on his head. But why the 4 stars?...well, my son is only 10 and though this cap is unisex, it is not made for adult heads. Had i known it was only for kids, then this may have gotten 5 stars. We will still keep it rather than sending it back since my son needs a winter cap, but it's not for me. This quickly became my new favorite beanie to wear. It fits perfectly, nice and tight and the material is thick and warm. After wearing it all day, it's still nice and tight, not needing to be washed to get it fitting good, again. The gray is nice and the logo is very cool looking, not gaudy at all. Nice quality beanie, looks nice on. I like the lightweight knit of this. It keeps your head warm but isn't bulky. I have a rather large head but this fits well, it has plenty of stretch too. I like it. Read more
