Absolutely love it! I was skeptical because it’s pretty different than a regular pillow. It’s not as wide and has a completely modified shape. The reason it works so well for me is because I hate the pillows that feel comfortable but once I lay on it, it completely flattens. But then, on the opposite side, the pillows that are too firm put a pain in my neck. This pillow is perfect because it’s thick and firm, but the cutout area for the shoulder and neck keep your neck at a healthy angle. So I’m supported, comfortable, and not in pain in the morning. The last benefit that I don’t think they even take into account is that since there is a sunken spot in the middle for your head, it seems to keep me from tossing and turning and rolling around. If you’re like me, skeptical to try something new online that you haven’t ever tested, spend the $45 on this pillow (I bought the case too, but the case definitely wouldn’t be required if you wanted to save money). My wife didn’t want one and she is using 3 pillows to try and create what I’m getting from this one. She likely will eventually admit she wants one too. Read more

As with every other of the many pillows I tried, this one has its strengths and weaknesses. The height of the pillow is great for side sleepers. And it has a nice depression in the middle to alleviate pressure on the ear. I even like the stuffing material which was very different from any other I've tried. And, given the prices of other pillows, the price on this one was really great. Where it missed was on the curve of the pillow. The curve was just too shallow, or maybe too narrow, to allow the pillow to be sufficiently pulled down onto the neck for proper head support, so I still ended up with a tilted head from laying on the edge of the pillow. Perhaps it will work for you. Read more
This pillow is not comfortable at all for side sleepers. Unfortunately this was a waste of money for me. I’ve been trying this pillow out for 3 weeks and finally gave up because my neck is too sore. There’s no support at all for the neck and the edges are so high that my face is at an awkward angle while sleeping. Ironically, this pillow is perfect if you sleep on your back. I was so uncomfortable that at times I tried sleeping on my back and it was actually very comfortable. I prefer to sleep on my side though and this pillow was advertised for that purpose so 1/5. Also, it’s way too expensive for the quality. Read more
i am actually use to firm pillows (my favorite use to be sleep innovations heavy neck curved pillow before they changed its quality) but, this U sleep pillow is hard as heck, it is like sleeping on a inflated ball filled with rocks. my shoulders are a cracking away today from this pillow putting so much pressure on them while sleeping. my neck is stiff as heck, i woke up multiple times because this pillow is so hard that it presses on side of your neck big time and causes pain. I had the worse sleep logging night since the day i got my fitbit tracker, that is how bad this thing was, i woke up so much that i was awake for 1 hour and 46 minutes during night!! i don’t know if its oddly made contour neck area shape is reason for so much pressure on my neck, i feel like its part of reason becuase it is odd how the wings refuse to spread apart and stay that way. it stretches open when you spread it and then bounces back closed to a smaller opening then show in listing pic, my guess this is what is putting pressure on side of neck cause it squeezes into it..which also ends up making wings squeeze against your upper shoulder as well. the ear whole only works if YOUR head fits/sits into this pillow size correctly. i am a 5’4 small frame woman and my ear did not reach hole enough, my ear set on the outer edge of ear indention. IMO due to its firmness/hardness, loft size and ear area, this pillow is more for those medium frame and up that sleep on their side.. i do think given how extremely full this pillow is, it will last a while before going flat/etc. and its so pack that it is doubtful filling will move about and bunch up in areas...a good thing but, not for those of us with smaller/lighter heads, it is too hard & bouncy feeling for me, so reminded me of a latex pillow actually.. getting returned.. PILLOW CASE: i bought the pillow case as well and do like the pillow case softness and decided to keep it and make my own u sleep like pillow with the stuffing from a regular shaped soft filled down alternative pillow i don’t use. came out looking like the non-cooling version of these u sleep pillows when i was done and is much softer on my head while still offering the neck support this U sleep pillow would offer if wasn’t so hard/stiff.. if this pillow doesn’t work out for you due to firmness but, you still like the shape, get a pillow case for $9.99 and make your own.. This works great as a pillow on our couch. A little too thick for sleeping in the bed, but both husband and i like for watching tv and falling asleep on the couch! Glad i found this pillow! Read more
This is contestant #2 in my most recent quest to find the perfect pillow. This isn't a contender. I do like the nice, compact size, but it's too high to provide good neck support. I found myself with my head cranked over, touching my shoulder. The ear depression is made for someone with a giraffe neck, so my little, stubby badger neck isn't nearly long enough to get the ear into the right position to take the pressure off it. On the good news front, when I want to read in bed, it turns out that this a great pillow to add to the top of my stack of pillows. It cradles my head and tilts for the perfect reading angle. So, I'll keep it. Just not for the purpose intended. Read more
I'm a sleep on my right side person, but I need to have my head elevated. This pillow cradles and elevates your head whether you are on your side or sleeping on your back. Seems to put your head and neck in a pretty good sleep position. Read more
