This is simply the best tripod I own. I wanted one that would hold the phone magnetically because the new iphone has tons of side buttons and I was always putting it to sleep or something. Great, Trustworthy, Quality, and Versatile Tripod for MagSafe iPhone! I was extremely impressed with this tripod. It is taller than I (5'9"). It transforms from a handheld camera stick to a full-functioning Tripod. The magnet is reliable, the remote is easily accessible and pairs quickly, and the base is sturdy. Nice and compact, a little wobbly but wont tip over at full extension. Magnet is nice and strong for MagSafe, side arms work on non mag phones making it very versatile for various phone styles. Remote is a little finicky on reconnect, but once you got it down, works great from standard distance. The wobble at full height would not work well in windy areas for stable pictures. However in low wind, or indoors for event pictures and group photos, it is great and no one has to be left out to hold the camera. The extra height this has over other options is very nice putting your phone camera over 6 feet tall. Magnet is strong enough to prevent tilt on a Galaxy Fold 7 when the phone is open which is great for wider screen larger 200MP group pictures or sky and landscape pictures including timelapes. this is a really good product, the magnet is good, the controller is good, and if you need something, that’s sturdy, especially when it’s extended fully it is what you need. As for being compact, it’s not that compact I would suggest a different type of tripod/selfy stick. The positive of this device is that you’re able to raise it up really easily the product does what it’s supposed to do and I like it. Read more

Fully extended it is very solid and it takes some effort to collapse. The extensions are so tight that I do not have any worry about the tripod self collapsing. I haven't tried this tripod with a mountable camera yet, however, but I am 100% confident in the ability to hold the camera. I can finally take pictures and selfies using the remote. My tremors make holding a cell phone and trying to take a picture almost impossible. The remote is very easy to use with my cell phone and integrates extremely well.
