I snatched these because I needed a simple pair of flip flops for summer. Most flip flops seem to be basically just flat foam and after about 20 minutes my feet hurt. Fortunately, these are actually better than that. The first thing I noticed was the cushioning. They’re lightweight but the sole has some give to it, not that super thin hard foam you get with cheap pairs. There’s a bit of arch support too which I wasn’t really expecting. It’s not orthopedic level or anything, but it’s enough that walking around in them feels more comfortable than the usual beach flip flops. The strap between the toes is also softer than alot of sandals I’ve tried. Usually that part starts rubbing after a while and gets annoying fast. With these it hasn’t been an issue so far. I wore them around the house the first day just to break them in and honestly there wasn’t much breaking in needed. They’re lightweight which is nice for travel. The grip on the bottom is decent too. I walked across wet pavement and didn’t feel like I was about to slide across the ground. Fit seems true to size. I went with my normal size and they fit fine. Not loose, not squeezing my foot either. They stay on well when walking. Only small complaint is they do have that typical new sandal smell when you first open them. Not terrible, but it’s there. After a day or two it pretty much went away. Overall I’m pretty happy with these. Simple, comfortable, and actually supportive enough to wear longer than most flip flops. My guy loves these sandals! He says they’re comfortable to wear and he likes that they’re lightweight. He reports he doesn’t even feel like he has them on. They fit true to size. They are designed well with the right amount of support and a comfortable toe separator. What I love is, the black dark foot bed lining which keeps the sandals clean looking! The dark lining doesn’t show dirt and shadows of footprints! This dark lining will keep these sandals looking great! We live in a warm climate in these sandals are a daily go-to for my guy. He ran out of the house to help someone with a project that involved standing and moving in some grass, dirt terrain and he reported that the sandals were great to wear because they had some traction. They’re easy to rinse off the bottoms. They have traction grooves, but everything rinsed off easily without getting stuck in the bottoms! The sandals are sharp, looking with a soft flexible band that has nice detail. They have enough cushion to provide some support to the foot and flexible for walking without being a flat rigid sandal. This is definitely a thumbs up choice. I find nothing negative to report on these mens sandals. I feel the price point is good for the quality and construction of these sandals. My guy has a much pricier sandal that now sits in the closet because he is choosing to wear these! Read more
I spend every summer in flip flops – so much so that the tops of my feet still have faded tan lines from the straps from last summer (and it’s March right now). So I have worn through many different brands and styles of flip flops over many summers. This brand checks all the boxes for me. I steer clear of any big box or dollar store flip flops: I want ones with adequate support since they are my main footwear all summer long. These flop flops have nearly an inch-thick heel that provides nice cushioning and support. There is also a mild rise in the arch to help support the center of the foot. A 3-pronged rise in the front of the foot bed gives your toes added grip to help hold the flip flops in place, along with the textured foot bed that gives your entire foot some grip. And the cloth toe separator is critical: there is no chafing or blistering that you might get when first wearing other flip flops that have leather, rubber, or plastic toe separators. These are super comfortable from the first time you put them on. In terms of sizing: order your normal size. I’m 9½, which I ordered. I received EU size 43, which fit me perfectly. If you’ve only ever worn those pressed rubber flip flops from the dollar store, treat your feet to this very nice upgrade. Read more
These flip-flops smelled like straight-up new tires the second I ripped open the pack—strong rubber/chemical odor hit me right away. Kinda gross at first, but I left 'em outside to air out for a few hours and it faded enough to not bother me anymore. They work well enough once the smell dies down—decent cushion underfoot, don't slip around on wet surfaces too bad, and they're comfy for quick trips to the mailbox or hanging around the yard. Good grip on the sole for basic use. The straps run big though, so they don't hug your feet tight like they should. No buckle or adjustment on 'em, so if your feet are on the thinner side or you like a snug fit, they feel loose and flop around a bit more than I'd want. Almost like they're sized for bigger feet. For the price they're okay for something quick to walk outside for a smoke or to the mailbox, but the loose straps knock 'em down a notch. I'd give 'em 4 stars—do the job, but not perfect hold and that initial tire stink. Read more
I’ve been really happy with these flip flops. The dark green color looks great in person, and the overall material has a nice quality feel to it. Comfort-wise, they’re excellent. The cushioning is really noticeable when walking, and they provide better support than I expected for flip flops. I’ve been wearing them out and about, not just around the house, and they’ve held up well for longer walks. I've also gotten them wet while gardening and no issues or permanent marking. One downside: when they first arrived, they were sealed in plastic wrap and had a pretty strong “new plastic” smell. I left them outside in the sun for a couple of days and that completely went away, so not a big deal in the end. Overall, very comfortable, good-looking flip flops. Read more
