I bought a size 8 for my wife based on many people saying that you need to size up. She normally wears a 7 1/2. When they arrived, the width was good but the length was to long and her foot kept coming out of them. I returned them and ordered a 7 1/2 W thinking that would work. Wrong. They arrived today and the length was still to long so they are going back and we are done with Ugg slippers. $100.00 for slippers is pretty high but worth it if they fit perfectly. I am currently wearing my old UGGs--I wear them allll the time. I just opened a Valentine's Day gift from my husband and could immediately tell the design and materials were different, but not in a good way. The "responsibly sourced" material is just more synthetic lining that is dyed and going to make your feet sweat. I had a pair of TOMs that did this for me. You have to have wool. That is the point of buying UGGs. The new shoes were also bigger for the size than the last two pairs of the same size shoe. The right slipper keeps flipping off. It's not just a matter of needing to break in a new pair of shoes. These are just lower quality. I'm not sure why, but Amazon has a completely different selection than the UGG website. It makes me wonder if it's not similar to getting outlet quality vs original. Of course, I am going to return them, but I hate that my husband was so excited to get these for me only to realize that we've been duped. Read more
