Authentic and perfect shoe for my old mother👍

EllaNovember 10, 2023

I find it essential to be accurate and honest when writing reviews. With that said, I had read a review that said these were not authentic UGGS. That is INCORRECT and ignore that particular review. My pair are genuine. You can verify it by looking on the actual website, plus they come in a box with the authentication material inside of it. I bought this pair for my mother for Christmas. We already gave them to her because my daughter wanted her Oma to have a pair of UGGs. They fit her nicely. I was very impressed with the purple because it looks light in the pictures; however, it’s a darker grayish purple. She wears a size eight, and they fit her as a size eight shoe would. They are comfortable and provide good support. They are a stable use for my older mother. Of course, as with all UGGs, they are durable and versatile for wearing inside and outside. I will say to anyone with a wide foot, “Order a wide if available because these regular size shoes are not suitable for you because your foot will stretch and rip the shoe, which is your fault, not the brand or shoe. These slippers are exactly as advertised and well-made. They’re a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that lasts and is quality-made, I realize I will have to pay a higher price. Read more

Great Comfortability, Lasting Quality, Worth the Higher Price!

KARIOctober 29, 2015

As someone who gets cold feet easily (literally, not figuratively), I'm constantly looking for something to provide more warmth than socks to wear around the house. I'm not the biggest fan of Uggs, mostly because of their prices, but these slippers are absolutely worth the price. This is my second pair - my first pair has stayed just as comfy and warm as the day I bought them 3 years ago. I have even worn them outside! The bottoms are covered about 90% in a rubber material, so though I have worn them to work, and out for errands here and there with no real wear/damage, I would not wear them outside in bad weather conditions, places with dirt/gravel, etc. I can wear these slippers all day long without a single complaint - they do not make my feet sweat at all! They are a bit narrow, but in my opinion that is the main characteristic that gives them such a comfortable fit. They do run a little small, so as a normal size 9, I have both pairs in size 8 and they fit perfectly. I recommend these to anyone who doesn't like being barefoot, loves to be comfortable, and wants a product well worth its price! Read more

Best slippers ever

Ellen S. PredhamDecember 26, 2024

My husband bought these for me for Christmas. At first when I put them in I thought they were too small. I’m a size 5 so always hard to find footwear but this one appeared to really hurt my bunion as they were too tight. But after wearing all day they stretched out so no pain. They are like a warm blanket for my feet and because of the sole and their mocassion style, they are definitely wearable outdoors as shoes so the best gift ever! Read more

Very comfortable and excellent quality. Have purchased these slippers many times over the years. Every time I try other brands I end up returning them. Worth the extra cost. Read more

Decent, not sure about the sole

NicoleJanuary 3, 2019

Look just like the picture. Got the red. I am usually a 7.5. I sized up to the 8, and they fit just right. A little snug, but as the wool compresses, it'll fit nicely. Length is about a 1/2” between the end of my toe and the end of the slipper. I was surprised when I saw the inside is a piled sheep fur on a polyester backing. The wool is thick and quality. I actually thought it was shearling at first. It's possible because the wool is so thick, I might be overly concerned about the next point. What brought down the rating for me was being disappointed that the whole sole of the shoe is synthetic. The piled wool is attatched to a foam backing to make up the insole. That is then glued to a blue rubber layer that is the top of the outter sole. I was expecting a leather layer on the bottom of the wool as it holds up better over time for longevity reasons. This is a quality preference on my part. The insole takes the biggest beating from your foot and a polyester knit attached to a sheet of 1/8" craft foam may not hold up as well as other materials. The wool really is beyond the quality I was expecting. As long as you can't wear a whole through the fur, you're looking good. The bottom of this slipper is pliable rubber and reasonably comfortable. There is of course no arch support in these like most slippers. If you have foot problems, these are probably not for you. The lace is nice and thick, and I trust it for future adjustment needs when the wool compresses. All in all I would recommend these. I can't comment on durability other than my concern above, but they seem like they might be a good choice. I'm going to shop a little more, so I may not update if find something else. Read more

good design and I cant find where they have cut ...

DGRN1960January 23, 2017

I read all the reviews. I can say they are made well with quality materials, good design and I cant find where they have cut back in craftsmanship. I don't ever scrimp on footwear, I don't mind spending money for good quality footwear but, I don't see how they are worth 100 dollars. Since there are other brands that are just as well made for less, I would buy another pair only because of the name. I got them just because they are UGGS, everyone has them and I just had to try a pair. They do run small, and it would be smart to order a sixe up or you will have to suffer through a break in period, like you have to do with well made leather boots or shoes. The slippers are great and keep my feet very warm in Maine, and with the sewn on sole, I can use them to run to the local store for milk if I so chose. If I could give them a 4.5 instead of a 5, I would just because of the high price. The reason for the 5 is because they just plain are better than a 4. Read more
