With ladies mule shoes in current trend, and trying to stay caught up with my trendy 20' something beautiful daughters, I choose to spend a bit more then I normally would in purchasing these. Why? Mainly because of the Ugg reputation for providing quality shoes that last, and also because I love shoes with a bit of funk to them. The size I ordered turned out to be perfect. (Being blessed with spreading size 10'ers as I age, I never know with online ordered shoes.) The style was true to the pictures here, possessing just the perfect amount of funk. (Pictures to follow, but I wore them with a pair of Gap baggy/slightly longer jeans.) And after wearing them only once, but walking significant distances, they were comfortable from the start and remained so. Truly, I'm so happy I took the plunge and paid the extra! If there is any concern, it would be maintaining the decorative fur on the tops. That said, when they do get dirty, because we all know that they will, I don't expect them to be difficult to clean.
