There shoes are extremely comfortable. The footbed is amazing and so soft. The back strap with the elastic feels comfortable to me, not bothersome as some other reviews have said. I would say the run slightly small. I have usually an 8.5 or 9. I ordered the 8.5 and they are a touch short, but no so much that it doesn't work. But a 9 might have worked as well. I have a narrower foot and the front band is perfect. So these might not work on someone with wide feet. The first day I wore them, I had two women rush up to me and ask me where I got my sandals.
