UGG Womens Ostrander Boot

Love, love, love these boots. They are really sweet looking and very light weight. I've only tried them on and not worn them yet. I live in southern Texas and bought them for a trip to Canada so will update my review after my trip. As far as looks and comfort though they are just what I was hoping. I did read many reviews and saw that many said they run small so ordered an 8 1/2 when I usually wear an 8. They fit perfectly with medium weight socks. UPDATE: Just returned from my trip to Calling Lake in Alberta, Canada. Wore my boots with pretty thick insulated socks (normally wear 8 and bought 8.5) and the fit was perfect. My feet stayed warm the whole trip and I have to honestly say these are one of the most comfortable boots I've ever had. They're not for deep snow, but 6 inches or so and you're good you go. I was able to see this boot in the store and I really liked they style and quality. I purchased the boot from Amazon at a fantastic price and am pleased with the boot. I wear a size 7.5 shoe and an 8 in boots and sneakers. I purchased this boot in a size 8 and although it fits well, it is a little snug. That may be due to the lining. I know the next size would be too big for me so I stuck with this boot, but something to know if you are in between sizes. Great and comfortable boots, definitely genuine with the Ugg tags with hologram and inserts in the box. I only received them today as located outside of USA. Glad I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size bigger than usual. They fit like a glove, my feet feel very comfy in them. But I am counting on wearing thin socks only. If you need to use thick socks, order a full size bigger than usual. The box weighted 2 kg but the boots don't feel that heavy in hands or on your feet. There is no arch support but it can be rectfied by appropriate inserts placed under the warm Ugg inserts. Can't comment on anything else so far but I will edit the review when I use it in cold outdoor and wet conditions. So far I am very happy with my purchase. Read more

Boots run small. My mistake there, only getting them one size up from normal. But these boots were definitely NOT new. They were scuffed on the sides and creased on the toes. I wouldn't chance buying these again. Will return them and get my money back. Beware future buyers. Read more

very soft and warm. they are lined all throughout the inside of the boot. not just the sole and collar. so they really keep your feet warm. they have very decent support comparing to classic uggs. they run true to size, mate just very slightly on a smaller size. i normally wear 7-7.5 and these in 7.5 fit me well with a regular sock. i am pretty sure i wont need more than a regular sock with these boots. and they are truly waterproof. i spent over an hour playing in slush with my son and my feet were dry and warm. highly recommend. I Wanted to love them but the toe box is too tight even a half size up from my usual size. So I went for the Cecile instead. The Cecile are not as lined (just the tongue and wool inner sole) but the sizing fit true to size and they are comfortable. Read more

Ran small so sent back and ordered a half size up. Those were perfect but about a month and a half after sporadic use (which was not heavy use, just cold weather normal daily wear) the sole started splitting from the shoe. Not the quality I expect from Uggs or Vibram. Disappointing because they are super warm and very comfortable. Read more

I ordered these boots for a recent trip to New York City. They were wonderful. Very comfortable and good fit. I walked all day in them and my feet were not only warm and cozy in 1 degree Fahrenheit temps and there was terrific support for my sometimes troublesome feet. Read more
