PLUSH. See all the display photos (left going right = #'s 4 & 5) which give the MOST REALISTIC COLORS in the rug. VERY PRETTY. Personally I was going to use it in front of my shower. But being clumsy thought while toweling off would trip on the scalloped edge. Plus there is a shag rug with sponge rubber cushion under that, which enhances movement. The advertisement shows it at the washing machine station etc. T/F the very substantial rubber backing on the rose rug would stay put. It would also look great next to any bed. 5-1-23. These are in fact machine washable! I have washed mine multiple times due to it being used at the front door and it’s held up beautifully. It’s thick, and the color is accurate to the picture.
