I had been on the look for a great, high quality tripod and when I saw the tilting function that this one has for overhead shooting, I knew it was the one. The carbon fiber construction makes it light yet rugged, it's quick to set up, quick to break down, and has excellent features like the smooth pan head. I love this tripod. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I pretty much broke it down in my video but ill say as much as a I can here. I have never heard of this brand, and I've shot with a lot of equipment. The reason why i was looking for a tripod that is this size is I do a lot of on location video shoots / travel for shoots, and I don't want to be carrying around a massive tripod / have to check just a tripod at the airport. I also wanted a carbon fiber tripod to save weight. This was one of the tripods that checked all those boxes. 1. This thing is pretty small. You could fit it in a backpack, but you could 100% fit it in a checked bag. 2. It can extend pretty high. It have get about head level with the average person at its max height. Most of the people i'm filming at sitting so I did not need something that would extend that much. That being said I wouldn't have a problem filming someone standing. 3. The tripod is really easy to use. Nothing is hidden and everything works. 4. The travel case is crazy nice! It seems to be weather proof and has extra room for storage. 5. Comes with spikes you can use on the bottom if your filming outside or are on soft ground, really nice they include those. 6. The tripod handle comes off and has a series of tool bits in the handle that you can use to adjust / dissemble the tripod with. Or just use for any reason while on a shoot. 7. For those of you that don't no the difference between Arca-Swiss and F38, and are wondering whats the difference I will let you know. The only difference between the two tripods is the mounts. Arca-swiss is a mount where you have to slide your on and off when the lever has been rotated all the way clockwise. F38 is going to be a quick mount, which means you press a button and lift your camera on. To put your camera on you just press it down directly ontop of the tripod. I went with the Arca-Swiss mount because I am used to sliding all my cameras off of tripods. The F38 mount is quicker if your going on and off the tripod alot during one shoot. The Arca-swiss does take a bit more time everytime you put the camera on and off It is on the more expensive end of the spectrum for what it is. For this price you could get larger more stable full sized tripod, but thats not what this is servicing. Its really meant for the on the go / travel shooters. It takes up 1/3 that amount of space of my larger tripods. If your on the go, I would recommend this tripod! Read more

THIS CAN BREAK YOUR CAMERA. I wanted to like this tripod. Its light, it has really neat adjustability features and the clamps holding the legs are so springy. However unlike the influencers that got me to buy into this, I actually use my tripods every day to make a living and this has 3 major flaws and one is an absolute deal breaker if you value the camera and lens that you put on this thing. 1. Brackets falling right off. The green metal brackets have very weak screws that are popping right off. Two of the three on my unit have come off and so they are just flopping up and down the leg. This is a cosmetic problem and could be fixed if i knew what screws to get. Doesnt affect stability but for the price i think its unacceptable. 2. You're going to want to shave about 3-6" off the max height. The skinny top arm of the tripod will sink if you put a camera on it. Kind of scary to see your camera drop down slightly when you have it at nearly 6' in height. 3. THE BIGGEST problem is the quick release plate. This particular system is actually nifty in theory. You just place the camera on top, it grabs the plate and you lock it by moving the button to the side. In the beginning i liked it so much, i bought some of these release plates for my other tripods and gimbals. The one that comes attached to this unit however is VERY bad. The button is very easy to slide to the left and right which means that lets say you're adjusting the rotation. of the camera, you can easily brush against the switch and compromise your camera without you realizing it. The button is very cheap and the lightest press of the will release it. This has happened to me 3 times now. Luckily 2/3 times i caught my camera before it hit the ground. However one time my camera did fall onto the floor and scuffed up my lens pretty badly. This $300 tripod with problems I never see on a $80 tripod could have cost me a $2000 lens replacement and a full days pay. Read more

I have too many tripods and I’m not a pro. But this one is my favorite. It’s very well thought out with nice features such as female screw sockets for accessories like a phone holder which is a must for me, plus for other things. The only thing they missed are strap loops on the tripod itself. They are on the carrying case but I don’t carry the case with me as I am changing my shooting location. It would be nice to carry it over my shoulder rather than in my hand. It’s lightweight, fast to set up smooth, and with the included head gear very nice. It’s more than I would normally spend on a tripod but zero complaints or regrets. Read more

Very easy to set up. Lightweight. Sturdy. Fits nicely strapped to my Greenroom136 Metro monger Prime bag. Had to swap to a Ulanzi clip to slot my camera in, moving away from the Peak Design one. No big deal as I don't like some of the PD stuff. Wish it was slightly more compact (somehow). It is already a robust little tripod for travel, so I'm just nitpicking. Read more
