I heard a bunch of my friends rave about the Ulike, so I figured I would give it a try. I’m middle eastern, so the hair on my body grows everywhere fast and THICK. The results are astonishing. I started with my face and arms— I haven’t shaved my arms in a few months and the only hairs poking out are where I need touch ups from missed spots, or where its so light you can’t even see it. Same for my face, my mustache and side burns are completely gone, the only little hairs that come up are the light peach fuzz. I started my legs, and within the first 3-5 treatments I feel like the rate of growth slowed down tremendously. It’s pretty easy to use, I typically just let it go on auto. What I love about this is that it has the cooling sapphire technology. That is absolutely amazing 🤩 it has helped me get rid of the unwanted hair. And the stubborn hair I love it. I really wanted this to work. I read a ton of positive reviews and a ton of negative and figured I’d give it a go. I am light skinned dark haired. On the positive side… the pain was minimal. Every once in a while it would hit a little bit more alarmingly than normal…but overall minimal discomfort considering what we are hoping to achieve. It did slow growth down as long as it was consistently used a few times a week. But that is insanely time consuming. As soon as I was excited that it was working and cut back, regrowth picked up pace as well. To be honest… it’s quicker for me to just shave than you sit there slowly zapping myself in the bath thrown wearing sunglasses. Hope it works better for others. Read more
I have to start by saying that I was probably the biggest skeptics out there on IPL hair removal systems. Not only that, I was hesitant to spend a few hundred dollars on something that "supposedly" worked. However, after wasting so much money on waxing treatments, time on shaving, and constantly being annoyed with how fast my hair grows, I decided to give it a try. I use this in addition to laser hair removal. I don’t think it would do the trick on its own with having very thing hair BUT I do think it helps to curb hormonal fluctuations that occur of your journey. It is easy to use. It is only painful in the private areas but I like to think that the pains signals that it is working. This product does well at working but be aware of health issues and if you should use it. If you are on blood thinners you should not use it. If you have broken veins/varicose veins it can cause a blood clot that could cause a stroke or TIA. That happened to me after using for 3 weeks- started throwing clots from my legs causing heart vibrillations that ended up causing TIA. I am in love with this! I do see an increase in hair growth in places that never had it before (which apparently is normal) and the long time stubborn thick hairs are turning thinner and falling out! I have been using this for going on 5 months following the instructions and have the skin and hair color that falls within the suggested guide. It has not produced any results and the return window closes before you get a chance to use it as indicated to know if it will work.
