Made in Japan, this fantastic exfoliating scrub made from natural salt and coral powder is sourced from Okinawa. I love everything about it. The scent is amazing and the notes are lavender, vanilla and cedarwood/sandalwood. Use a nickel sized dollop of the pink scrub and work into a fine lather with circular motions. You can use with hands or on loofah or sponge if desired. Very gentle on sensitive skin and you can use this over your entire body for cleaning and removal of dead skin cells. It leaves your skin feeling so soft afterwards and very receptive to moisturizing lotions or creams. This should last awhile making the price point seem more reasonable. I wasn't expecting this scrub to be any different from the many other brands of scrubs that I have used in the past but this one was a really good experience all around. The scent is pleasant to me and I feel that it is neither too feminine or too masculine. Both my husband and I use it. The scent is not super strong when you dry off but it's there, which I like. I don't want it overpowering my other products. The scrub itself is not scratchy and overly gritty but it does a better job than others that I have used for exfoliation. It does lather up so nothing get missed in the cleansing process, which is a bonus in my opinion. I feel that it helps to cut down on how much you need to use each shower. When I dry off my skin looks and feels instantly better and there is no oily residue or anything unpleasant, just healthy looking skin. My skin looks more refreshed and vibrant and my tattoos look fresh. It is a big jar and will last some time. The price is the same as luxury scrubs but definitely more than you'd pay for a big box or drugstore brand.
