These slippers were a little uncomfortable when I first put them on. Then I read the instructions from the manufacturer that stated to keep wearing them to give the slippers' memory foam a chance to mold to my feet. I'm glad I did!! The slippers are now comfortable. The padding in the inner sole is so generous that, at first you may need to walk more slowly. The deep memory foam makes for a distinct "squishiness" with each step that is less noticeable after a little while. These slippers "wear" better, that is, they conform to the feet better, after you have been wearing them for a couple of weeks. The only thing that keeps these slippers from being perfect, in my opinion, is that the heel is slightly elevated above the ball of the foot. This is only likely to be noticeable to people with certain orthopedic conditions that require them to wear FLATS. Aside from that, these slippers are quite comfortable, and seem durable without being heavy. They fit true to size and are warm. (I wear socks with them; if you don't, it's possible you may find them a little large.) The quilted uppers give these slippers an elegant look. They would also look nice in beige/tan/cream color, but instead of that neutral shade, we are offered....purple....which doesn't go with much. They would look great in cream! I guarantee you that a hard floor won't be a hardship, if you are wearing these! But PERFECT, five-star slippers would not elevate the heel even slightly. There is no good reason for that. I like them but I don’t love them! My shoe size is 81/2 and i chose 7-8 slippers, after wearing the for a have a day they now feel too big! They are soft but not really comfortable , I would return them but I threw out my old slippers before these came. So I’m keeping them. Read more
