First time using the device. Does not do a thing to clean glasses. I mean you take the glasses out of the water... and OF COURSE IT HAS DROPS OF WATER ON IT. You have to wipe the moisture off with micro fiber cloth, which will leave streaks. And how is that better than just wiping the glasses with the cloth and lens cleaning gels? When pay for a product to clean my glasses, I assume i put it in, turn it on... wait... turn it off.. then put on the glasses. This is NOT that! For $34, I unfortunately have to return the product. The reason I bought this was purely for cleaning eyewear, and the mold that seems to form on the metal frames and the nose plastic pieces. In this regard, it did not kill the mold. I did try to use it 2 to 3 times a day to see if it would in fact, kill the mold it did not. There is a warning that it will affect most eyewear. However, as far as I know most eyewear has some kind of coating on it (I.e., blue light, UV protection, scratch resistance, etc.). Costco for example could not sell glasses without the coating on the glasses. I’m hoping overtime that it will completely remove the coating that was there but right now my eyewear looks bad, picture included. Read more
