This Etermeish Ultrasonic retainer cleaner works pretty well. You get a small brush, plastic tweezers, a small tray, and the plug in cord with the cleaning container. The container is a nice bright glossy white with a chrome trim and a little window on top. The lid doesn't snap shut, it opens and closes by just lifting the lid. The inside cleaning compartment is metal with a little slotted tray that just sits on the rim of the metal compartment. It has a blue ultrasonic light that comes on when you use it. There is a max line also on the inside to show you the water level. When you push the button on the top it starts a count down and the machine starts to clean. I use it with my retainer cleaning tablets to get maximum cleaning results. My retainer fits perfectly inside the cleaning tank. The results I got was great. My retainer came out clean and it was fresh smelling. I didn't notice and bad smells, particles, gunk, or funk on the retainer. It is an easy product to use and cleans fast. It is small in size and I like that it doesn't take up much room. Overall I believe it is a good durable quality product that cleans well and gives my retainer a nice clean appearance. I am pleased with its performance and I recommend this product. Read more

This is great for families with kids in retainers. I also use it for my custom whitening trays I got from my dentist. Super easy to use and clean, and gives me confidence that our oral health appliances are truly clean. Small enough to sit unobtrusively on our bathroom vanity. Durable and feels like it will last a long time. Read more

My Amazon Vine reviews are based on a 4-star system, reserving 5 star ratings exclusively for products that exceed expectations, resulting in reorder or recommendation. The Etermeish Ultrasonic retainer cleaner machine in white, 42KHZ was extremely impressive at first, until I began to use it regularly. I orderered this machine as a Vine product, having never use an ultrasonic cleaner before. Upon opening I first tested by cleaning a heavily used makeup sponge in only water. While it did not fully remove the stains, in under 5 minutes be sponge was significantly cleaner. Initial use was very easy, but not extremely straightforward. The small basket inside seems uselessly shallow. I've yet to find anything that is small enough to fit there, but not too small to flip through the slots. After continual use successfully cleaning other things, I noticed the irritation of having to dump the whole unit upside down to drain the water and the inconvenient of a latch on the lid or even a drain basket. I do change the water each time, so the more that I used the machine the less I liked it. Otherwise the quality is sufficient for occasional cleaning makeup sponges, toothbrush heads, and lower end jewelry that you aren't concerned about vibrating against the machine. Because I don't like having to plug and unplug electronics in our very humid bathroom, the fact that there is no other way to drain the machine severely affected my overall rating. The look is simplistic and will work with any light aesthetic, It's not something I would leave out due to its shortcomings for daily use. Read more

This Etermeish Ultrasonic Retainer Cleaning Machine works great at cleaning dental appliance. It's not just for retainers, I use it to clean my occlusal nightguards daily. I drop it in, toss in a dental cleaning tablet and hit start. Moments later, after its run its time, the machine stops and my nightguard has been thoroughly cleaned. It feels jusst as clean as it does after getting professionally cleaned at the dentist office. It also comes with a sanitizing light feature that runs while the machine is running. Really glad that I found this. I think its an average value given its current price, but it does a fantastic job at cleaning my nightguard. It also can work well at cleaning your jewelry as well. My wedding rings have never looked better! This is an attractive unit that looks good sitting on my bathroom counter. Winner, winner! Read more

This ultrasonic cleaner does a very good job at keeping small everyday items fresh and hygienic with almost no effort. The cleaning frequency provides strong agitation, and you can actually see the water working as it lifts away buildup from toothbrush heads, jewelry, and other small accessories. It’s simple to use, just add water, choose one of the two cleaning modes, and let it run. The digital timer is clear and easy to read, and the machine automatically shuts off when the cycle is done. The stainless steel inner liner feels durable and well‑made, and the capacity is just right for most dental appliances and small items. It’s also quieter than expected, producing a soft hum rather than a loud buzzing sound. After a cycle or two, items come out noticeably cleaner and clearer, especially retainers that tend to collect residue quickly. While it won’t replace deep polishing for heavily tarnished jewelry, it’s excellent for routine maintenance and daily cleaning. For the price, the performance, ease of use, and compact size make this a very good addition to a bathroom counter or nightstand. Here is how I rate items: 5 Stars = Exceeds expectations, a good find. 4 Stars = Very good quality, worth trying. 3 Stars = Decent and does what is says. 2 Stars = Below expectations with noticeable issues. I have a mouth guard that I've had to start wearing due to grinding my teeth at night. This gadget has been helpful in keeping it clean and smelling nice. It's very easy to use, just add your item, drop in a cleaning tablet if you need one, then turn it on. It runs quickly and even has a built in drying rack which my current cleaning device does not have. I like that this also came with tweezers and a brush for deep cleaning. Esthetically, it fits in well with my clean white minimalist esthetic I've been aiming for. Overall, I would recommend this. Read more
