I purchased 2 of these cans in 2015 and they are in perfect condition! It hold a lot of trash and fits nicely in the bathroom and office and it’s a real space saver. It’s rather sturdy and made of quality materials. Mine are 10 years old and they are still in perfect shape. It does not dent or deform, and it looks great anywhere! I would purchase this item again if I had a need for one without reservation. Love this style basket.I’ve been slowly switching all my small rectangle and round shape baskets to the shape of a basket. I like the side handle I like how sturdy it is. it doesn’t topple over. Hide the dirt. But it also fits those little grocery store plastic bags with handles perfectly. It also is easy to wash out. The inside is a shiny surface easy to wash, where the outside is textured surface doesn’t show fingerprints. I just think it’s a perfect size to fit into small areas but holds a lot of trash. This is a great small bin for your home. It's pretty thin so it won't take up much space, and even though it's fairly thin the plastic feels pretty sturdy and feels of good quality. The bottom of the bin is slightly curved to the bottom so if you throw away round stuff like batteries it won't roll around so much. The handle on the back is also really helpful for pouring out your trash. I got two of these bins and when there's not a lot of trash and I want to pour it out, the thinness of this bin makes it really really easy for me to quickly and effectively pour it all out (into a bigger trash bag or into the same type of bin). I bought three of these garbage cans about 4 years ago for a new apartment. I like the size because it holds a small garbage bag, they are lightweight, and the cutout handle makes it really easy to pick up and turn it sideways so you can dump things into a larger garbage bag. They're also inexpensive so they really deserve five stars as far as I'm concerned. I did take one star off on this review and that is because Amazon has not been able to figure out how to actually ship these without them getting scuffed or damaged in some way. They throw them in a large box with those inflated plastic packing things in it, but it's still bangs all over the place in the box. Of the three that I bought a few years ago, two were scuffed and one had a crack in the bottom and a chip missing from the top. I decided it was too much of a hassle to return, so I covered the missing chip area with packing tape so it would not cut or scratch anyone, and you didn't see any of that with the garbage bag in and hidden on the side of a piece of furniture. Fast forward to now when the wear and tear of that can finally had enough and it developed a hole in the bottom and needed to be replaced. I ordered another one and it came packaged the exact same way with a giant scuff mark on the side. What I like about it: It’s a nice small slim waste can. About 13 inches in height, it’s design to be narrow and space-saving. Fit great for tight corners.. The price is very affordable at less than $10. The handle is great and makes it easy to carry or emptying out trash. Feels very light weight. This waste can is very good quality. Constructed of durable polypropylene, it has a little flex/bend to it. Very durable. No need to worry about dropping it or banging it against the wall. It won’t crack or scratch easily. Also, it’s easy to clean with regular dish washing soap and water. The option of selecting over 12 different colors is nice thing offered by Umbra. Lots of intriguing colors. Wanting to match my white floors, I chose the white waste can. The white color looks good! The best feature about this can is it uses regular grocery bags. These bags make good waste bags for this size of a waste can. Having lots of plastic grocery bags stored away from Ralph’s, and Walmart, it fits perfectly inside the Umbra Skinny Polypropylene Waste Can. No struggle or hassle placing the waste bags inside.
