This desk has been tremendously helpful since I’ve started working primarily at home. I developed neck and shoulder pain, due to my poor posture while using the laptop in bed, at the table, and on the sofa. I’m also a hobby artist and spent a lot of time bending over sketchbooks. Physical therapist recommended this desk and it is working well so far. The desk is lightweight and easily portable. I’m able to use it inside and while sitting outside. You definitely need to read the directions on recommended settings for the various locations. What works on a sofa does not work in bed or on a table. Once you get the settings right, it’s quite sturdy. I took photos of the settings I use most so I can quickly find them on my phone. I also like that I can clip a small book light on it when working at night. The surface is textured, which works well for a laptop and keeps it cool. If you’re planning to write you’ll want to put something smooth below your paper. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this desk to anyone looking to improve their posture while working, drawing, or even reading. Read more

The stand is not the greatest, but also not the worst: Pros: - large enough to fit a 16" laptop - has an attachable mouse pad feature to place any other accessories - able to adjust heights Cons: - the stand is extremely wobbly and not durable at all - I did not like that I had to keep pressing each button to get a desired angle - I would of have preferred it if I was able to tilt the legs and have them click and stay in place. Even when trying to match the same angles on both sides, I've noticed that one side will still be slightly uneven. - I have mostly used this stand with my Microsoft tablet, however, even its slight weight can make the stand topple if I am not careful Overall, I will be keeping the stand because it does help with my height and the stand has definitely save me some room space on my desk. Bought to replace another device for my wife laptop. Very solidly made, strong holding the laptop. Can be used on desk during a meeting to have the screen at the perfect height. Then easily move over to a couch and change to using more of the key board. Making adjustments you have you take the laptop away and work each support leg independently then test on flat surface to see if it properly the right angle, using both hands to articulate the legs, that's a bit of a pain. Once it's in your perfect position it's not a let down. Well made and sturdy. Over all 10 out of 10 Read more

Arrr, this desk was fine as a treasure chest in me first few months, sturdy and ready to hold me 15-inch laptop. But alas! Like a ship with a rotten hull, she couldn’t weather the storm. After just 8 moons, her joints gave way like a sailor to the Davy Jones’ locker! Me poor desk cannae even hold me laptop without bucklin’ under the weight. ‘Twas a fine vessel at first, but she be weak in the bones now, matey. If ye seek a desk that'll last, best look to other shores. This one be doomed to fail! Read more

This product simply works amazing. It's so versatile and you can usually figure out a configuration to meet your needs. It does take a bit of time to figure out the right settings, but once you do, it works great! I personally use it to set up my laptop while i walk on the treadmill at planet fitness. The dimensions just so happen to fit perfectly on the treadmill. I use the 2-20-2 setting with the legs. If you do decide to set it up at the gym, just be aware that some gyms will not allow it and will ask you to put it away. But my gym does let me do it, so it works great! I can get tons of work done while walking 15k steps a day! Read more

As a designer, it irks me to see poor design in everyday objects. When I first saw this advertised on CBS Deals, I thought that's exactly what I need as health reasons have forced me to work on my laptop a lot in bed. 1) The stand is not well balanced because the feet are too narrow; they need to be broader to offer stability and handle the weight of a laptop on a bed or any surface. The weight of the laptop as well as your hands as you rest on the laptop will cause the stand to tip forward if you have the platform at an angle. 2) Any bed surface will be too soft for this contraption to sit securely on. 3) It is rickety, feels cheaply made, and unsecured. 4) The platform needs vent holes so the laptop doesn't get too hot. 5) They should have a feature on the platform edge to make it comfortable for your wrists to rest on when typing. It just has a hard edge that digs into your wrists and leaves marks. 6) The detachable plate to rest your mouse on is unusable and ridiculously cheaply made. The one that came with mine angles downward so the mouse slid right off. I had to use clamps and wrenches to straighten the angle of the plate so it would be level with the platform. (Insert eye roll) 7) There should be a lip all the way around the platform in case the stand tips (and it will) so there is some added protection against the laptop sliding off the edge of the platform. Terrible quality and not at all what I was hoping for. I wish I could return it but I live internationally and it would cost me more to ship it back. What a waste. Read more
