Good compression without being restrictive. I’m 5’3”, #165 and purchased size xl reg which worked perfectly for my height - sits 1-2” above the ankle. The petite would have been too short for me. I only wash my leggings together and on delicate cycle, no other items in the wash, and always air dry. I wear them frequently and they have held up well. I bought three pair of these at the same time (same item, just different colors). They DO NOT all fit the same. The coral red and the olive green fit pretty well (although not as well as my favorite Under Armour leggings I already own and hoped to get again). The lavender color, however, has different measurements and does not fit right. I am constantly trying to readjust them. They might fit others well, but they don't work for me. Very flattering but extremely disappointing that after one wear all the threading is coming apart. I requested to be able to switch it out and was told I had to do a return but I got these on sale so I’d have to pay the full price so very disappointed!
