These Under Armour Base 4.0 are way thicker and heavier than I expected—in a good way. They feel warm and durable, not like thin leggings at all. The material has some texture and actually feels made for being outside. I’ve already worn them out in the cold and they held up great. Super comfortable and exactly what I was hoping for. These leggings are so warm and cozy and perfect for winter. They are great for wearing as is or as a layer underneath other clothes for that added warmth. The brand is known for their attention to detail and quality and this product does not disappoint. Really warm, the inner material is quite soft and they are comfortable. I do feel like for me, personally, the fit is a little off in the groin area and they are weirdly low wasted. Maybe for other body types it fits better but I would not purchase for this price how they fit me even wearing them as a base layer as they are just a little awkward feeling Read more

We have a ski trip coming up, so I was excited to get to try out these UA base layer leggings. They are really warm! There is like a waffle pattern inside and out, which I wasn't really expecting -- you can see the pattern on the outside as well as the inside. So that may be a consideration if you're looking for leggings to wear on their own for warmth. But as a base layer, they are perfect. They are super warm. But they are still fairly thin for as warm as they are. The fit is great. I am a size 8-10 and got the medium, and they are perfect. The waist is nice and high, so there's no cold drafts getting in and no muffin top. Very comfortable, plenty of stretch so they move with me. They are not tight around the ankle and have a bit of cropped length on me, like ankle pants (I'm 5'4"). I love them. So glad I got them. These will be my go-tos for really cold days, and of course on our upcoming ski adventure. Can't wait! Great quality leggings, don't hesitate on these. Read more
