I got this for vocal therapy to massage the muscles on the front of my neck. It is reliable and effective, small enough to put in your purse, and has two settings for intensity. I gave it four stars because the battery life is a little short and I don't like how the cracks in the design get goopy with skin cells and makeup. Read more
I have a pinched nerve in the middle of my back. I have tried many different things to try and get some relief from the pain especially at night. A deep tissue massage does nothing but hurt me. I saw theses at bed bath and beyond and tried it. I am telling you as a 72 year old woman With a stiff bad back and still work a 40 hour week that I love this product. I then discovered that Amazon had the same thing with a different name. When I am sitting i a chair, driving in my car or if I wake up at night and my back hurts, I lay on my side,put a pillow against my back, and the massager in the area that hurts, give it about 15 minutes , then sleep again because the throbbing nerve stopped hurting! I gave this as a gift for people and I carry one in my purse, I have one in my Nanny bag that I take to work with me. Do I like it? I am going to buy extra in case I can' t find any in the future! This massager is okay, I bought it because I have had a lot of back pain and headaches too during my current pregnancy. It is small, and not particularly strong, but it helps some. I would normally buy this type of product in the store just because I could see the size and have an idea if it might help but this pregnancy has been my toughest so I have avoided going out too often. I wish someone would have give me this device months ago. I was diagnosed with Muscle tension dysphonia (mtd). My insurance does not cover my therapy and my Er visit with steroids plus cough suppressant were a waist of time. Since mtd is muscle tension I figured, let’s try this device recommended on TikTok for voice actors. OMG! Life changer! I had lost my voice for weeks and with in the first use I was able to talk a sentence without coughing. I have been using it 3 times a day.
