These are well made and very soft and the price is really great. Especially for organic cotton which I very much prefer as a material for children's clothes over anything with polyester or rayon or even organic bamboo because of the chemicals needed to make it soft enough to wear. They are well put together with good stitching and only a few loose threads. The snaps fasten easily. They have the overlaps in the shoulder to make it easier to take over your baby's head or if you want to go down from the shoulders and over their feet that is also an option. The fabric has a nice weight to it. It is not thin. It is very soft and gets softer as you wash it. One thing I find annoying is the tag sewn into the outside seam of the shirt. I would rather have it printed somewhere inside the neckline. It really detracts from the overall look, but I understand why people might not want the strip of fabric inside the neckline. But if you cut off the one that they've sewn on the outside of the garment then you've got a little white tab sticking out where you cut it off and you also lose your washing instructions and size label. I decided to wash one of the two in the set and leave one unwashed to show everyone how much they shrink or change in the wash. This onesie was washed on normal cycle in cold water and then tumbled in a dryer at low heat. With them being truly 100% cotton I expected that they would shrink some and they did quite a bit. The fabric also pilled a little, and that's just after one wash. The color also dulled a little. When I first got them I thought that they were too big for 0 to 3 months and now after they shrank in the wash they seem like they will fit more true to size. If you have a chunky newborn then I imagine they might outgrow this onesie fast or it might not even fit once you wash and dry it. And they will definitely outgrow it way before they reach 3 months. If I had to compare the size to a more well-known brand, I would say the 0 to 3 months is very similar in size to a Carter's newborn size onesie (once they both shrink). Read more
I am so pleased with these little onesies! They are as soft as butter, made of organic cotton, I can't tell if the fabric is screen printed, I'm assuming so and I don't know if the printing is organic but in either case it would not be up against the babies skin, they are white on the inside. The color is a beautiful, soft, unisex sage, although they come in many colors. All of the stitching is double seamed however, with very nice quality. It's so rare these days to see excellent craftsmanship, but these are very, very nice. I would not hesitate, in fact I'm planning on buying more! Read more
These are very simple but high quality cotton knit onesie bodysuits. The 100% cotton fabric really is very soft. I like the quality and value. These bodysuits have short sleeves and a standard 3 snap crotch with metal snaps. That makes diaper changes so much easier. These wash fine in the cool cycle. They are plenty durable enough for as long as one baby will need them and then will make good hand me downs too. The gray color is neutral to go with most of our other clothing or accessories. Often for such little babies the bodysuit is actually worn under a swaddle or wearable blanket of some sort so plain gray is great. Read more
